Um ....  er ...... sure ... you know how insurance works, right? Low risk and high risk pools that balance each-other out? You get a lower premium as a low risk pool member, sure sounds great on paper, the fact is, you are still paying for other peoples healthcare.  Your money doesn't go into some secret bank account only available to you when you get sick. When you get sick and need healthcare, everyone from the other pools pays for it .... it's an illusion of choice. Greatest con in history. 1050ti will be marginally better than the CPU as a GPU renderer.

You guys are missing the point, and comments are not helpful, I asked for advice on glue from people who have de-lided and all I am getting is, should have gone with a Ryzen .. blah blah blah ...  must these threads always devolve as such?

Yeah my SP3 can get quite hot and throttle if it gets too tasked. However I use it as an artist sketchpad, web browsing in bed, and Photoshop on the go when I am doing a photoshoot or as a dailies review screen when shooting video on set. Ive grown quite fond of it.

It's "Double Data Rate" (DDR) so it's 1500x2 = 3000MHz. The RAM is working just fine.
