    no i know you didn't, just the way i read it! :P But i was just saying the way you said 'make it be more energy efficient', millions per year already go into this, it's not as easy as just dialing in more efficiency!

    why not just make the PC run by itself then? :P It's not that simple really, even the most efficient of power plants are at most 60% efficient at creating energy. The heat from a PC would be hard to collect, and it'd also be tough to reintegrate it into the system. it'd also be a noisy, space consuming operation, and probably not cheap either! Like i said, in principle, it's a great idea! But in practice, difficult!

    i think people have been taking this a little literally, I mean obviously this was never going to be a 100% efficient system, as that'd break the laws of thermodynamics! But think of it this way, heat is a form of energy, while it is of course difficult to convert back to something useful. But if you were able to regain 10-20% of what you are outputting in heat, it's still something! This will be difficult of course, but if you were able to make a PC 5% more efficient over all, then that is something, yes?

    feels on them, but really i can't complain a MASSIVE amount about windows, it's more attainable/more stuff on it than Linux, and it's just flat better in every way (for my usage) than Mac OS. I'll not complain!

    i really don't understand how these companies are still going so well. I mean i've been using Security Essentials for a while now, and it's nice, very unobtrusive and does anything i need. But what i mean is that these programs really only stop the viruses that you deserve to get if you click on them crappy links! :P

    it looks reallyfantastic, but it isn't without flaws! I mean, it's almost like they've tried to make the water 'too random' if you get me? But it's still really interesting to see where this will go from here!

    i don't know, i forgot my headphones going to college one day, and had to buy a pair for 2 euro, they hurt like hell, sounded quiet, and had way too much bass! i'd be prettaaay confident these are better! :P

    on PC, nothing that isn't a pludgy solution. On laptop,YES!! nVidia optimus is practically what you're talking about, it's on my Asus G46. It switches between the GTX660m and the HD4000 graphics, depending on whether you're in game (nVidia) or just browsing the net (intel). This saves a pretty sizeable chunk of battery, and requires no user interference!

    were you installed on this HDD before? i know you could have some trouble with a possible HDD failure, hence it not letting you to install windows, by an accidental knock or something. this happened to me changing my case!

    Yeah i get ya, but you see where i'm coming from! I doubt Valve would create a new engine and not carry on that series! :P

    In terms of the code, that is simply horrendous! I mean i'm only finished my first module in C, and even i realise how important it is to comment all your code and to keep it nicely in line and the variables well spelled. Now for the predicament, I'd say talk to him! Try to bring it to his understanding with some sort of comparison or something, preferably to trains! :P
