  1. You can get one on eBay CIB for like $200, or you can get one loose for like $100-$150. You could always try hitting up flea markets for deals, only problem there is that pretty much everyone knows what their stuff is worth these days so you probably wouldn't save much, that and the Atari Jaguar is a rare beast indeed so you'd probably be searching in vain. As for the CD add on that's something all the more complicated. For one, they're an uncommon add-on for an uncommon console so they're rare to put it mildly. On top of that the build quality was shit so finding one that actually works is rare as unicorn pubes. A loose working unit will run you about $600-$700 if your lucky, don't even bother looking for one CIB. Personally, I'd recommend just going for the base unit. None of the games for the CD add on look like they're even worth it, I don't think you'll be missing out on any hidden gems.
  2. The PC will feel disrespected and hence will refuse to post until you apologize and make amends.
  3. If there's DRM on Witcher 3 I had no issues with it. Just get it on Steam.
  4. The left and right buttons look like their at an awkward angle compared to the palm rest.
  5. I could see it if microsoft wanted to make an OS that was gaming centric. Not sure what the point would be. The downside of renaming Windows to Xbox in general is that they'd scare away their corporate users many of whom would see using an OS called Xbox as being unprofessional or undignified, even if it was just a rebadged version of windows. CEOs do care about that kind of shit.
  6. Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! You smell like a monkey and you look like one too! HAPPY BIRFDAY BUDDY! How old are you? Hopefully you can find a nice person to give you your birthday whacks!
  7. No dude, I love the SNES, it's probably my favorite console of all time but don't go there man. The SNES itself can be purchased for cheap (cheaper than $100), but the prices on some of the better games is just INSANE. I'd only get into it if you have money coming out of your butt, if not I'd just go with the Pi route. Not that I'm advocating piracy but I totally kind of am in a shameless way.
  8. That's true, and BE has the exact same issue maybe even a little worse. I swear sometimes it feels like if you establish a new city anywhere on the same continent as another faction they'll denounce you and of course you don't have the option to do the same in return. One of the crippling problems with BE though is that for every faction there are two favorability scales for each faction which dictates how they respond to you. One is Respect the other is Fear. An interesting idea in theory but in practice it's horribly unbalanced because the respect meter means nothing, basically if they view you as being weak you could be allies with maxed out respect and sometimes they'll just declare war on you because they can. If you have the fear level maxed out no one will fuck with you but this kind of breaks the game because it incentivizes you to play the game with military conquest in mind. One thing that is kind of cool though is they've greatly improved the peace negotiation process. Basically through the course of a war each side gains a certain number of points and at the conclusion whoever has the most points can pick and choose their "terms", basically which cities they want to claim, which technologies they want for themselves, etc.
  9. Meh, they were just trying something different. I kind of like how everything in that game is like the post future tech tree I've always wanted in Civ but have never gotten. It's just a shame that so many of the ideas in that game are so poorly implemented.
  10. Wrong. Every Greenday album sucks because Greenday sucks. True, but the same could be said of like 98% of artists out there. It's not like Genesis has no good songs. I agree but is that really even an unpopular opinion? Classy. Seriously?
  11. I think it's a misguided thing to do and it hurts our standing in the world. As for Trump himself, well, I'll just say that I'm not the biggest fan. Oh, and that he's a moron. And that he's most likely guilty of treason.
  12. Beyond Earth is worth it if you can get it on sale for cheap along with the DLC. It's like Civ V but with the most bipolar AI ever, but some of the late game units are kind of cool (giant space lasers, giant robot walkers, flying battleships, colossal genetically engineered aliens, etc)
  13. Either Civilization Beyond Earth or Starships. First one was a bit of a let down, second one is a pile of crap,
  14. I generally use default settings but some older games use a really funky control layout so in those cases I'll customize them.
  15. When it comes to books, DVDs and Blu-Rays I wouldn't even worry about it. Most likely these things will be left more or less unplundered seeing as people will be too busy surviving in a world without electricity to bother with them. When things get better and society begins to reform itself (if) there'll be plenty of sealed copies of Speed and Bad Boys 2 left lying around to get back up and running in no time. The real important info (ie science and engineering papers and literature, etc) is going to be locked up in university libraries so if you really want to do your part for the human race in the post apocalypse I'd recommend setting up camp in one of the those libraries to safeguard it and DON'T burn the books for warmth.
  16. It was a slow leak, I got about twenty miles on the highway before I realized something was wrong and by then it was too late my car just shuddered and died.
  17. I used to have this POS Oldsmobile Cutlass, I drove over a pothole and didn't realize it immediately but somehow I cracked the oil pan all the oil leaked out and the engine just ate itself alive. It lives in a junk yard now.
  18. Cognitive Dissonance Podcast.
  19. Usually Newegg for me, but for cables and secondary monitors and things like that I'll go to an electronics recycling place in my local area.
  20. If you're die hard Nintendo fan like I am then of course the Switch is worth it. I personally am holding off on buying it currently however as there are some design aspects I don't much care for, namely the plastic on the screen being soft and susceptible to scratching when docking or undocking it. I'm hoping for a revision which resolves some of the issues before I buy it and hopefully by that time there'll be more games out for it.
  21. Unless you're stopped on a hill. That takes awhile to get used to.
  22. In most states all you really need to be street legal is headlights, tail lights and a windshield. It should also be able to drive at highway speed if you ever plan on taking it out of town and it can't have any protruding bits of metal that could pose an excessive danger to pedestrians or other drivers if in an accident. The larger issue is whether or not you'd be able to get the thing insured and registered (almost certainly no since it wouldn't have a VIN number), though if you use an existing car body even if it's just the frame you would be able to register the vehicle as whatever kind of car that frame and vin number came from.
