Would help to know your system specs as they currently are. We can't recommend an upgrade if there even is one in your budget if we don't know what you have.

After reading all of this, I have a huge headache and I'm more dead inside. Not to be mean, but here's a lecture.

Where are you going to put the motherboard? On the table? Short circuit. Hardwood or carpet? Short circuit. Where do you mount the drives? That's why cases exist. If you want open-air, get a testbench case. Don't spend a lot on a PSU and go cheap on a GPU. That 570 might run Overwatch at 10fps Ultra Low 4K. Overwatch isn't really a demanding game. That PSU is overkill too. ATX is not obsolete. What if for example, you want 2 GPUs in SLI? Nope, can't do that with your Mini-ITX. What if YOU WANT MORE THAN 4 SATA PORTS? What if you want more RAM? You can't do that with a Mini ITX unit. Also, many ITX cases won't support your old PSU. Also, a RX 570 with a Ryzen 7 1700 will overload your PSU. In addition to this, your 10 year old PSU is really poor quality.

There are some that go over $500 and they have gone up in price as well but they are still a better deal than the 580 and 1060.

I don't have a prebuilt PC bud. I have a legit key. Accusing me of piracy is funny though. If you buy a prebuilt computer, whether it be a Mac or Windows, you get an OS with it that is included in the price. To buy it after the fact, it does cost money.

No because they only went back as far as Windows 7 and only for a limited time. You missed out on it. You aren't really getting MacOS for free either if you think you are. You pay a premium price for minimal performance difference compared to a PC that is cheaper. All for your aesthetics which don't mean shit compared to the use of the computer.

Why not just have them all connected? There are multiple SATA ports for a reason.

I have drives sitting around that are over 10 years old and they work fine. If you're that worried about it though, just copy all of the data from them on to one large drive.

G4620 which is slightly better but $20 more at $100 USD so Ryzen 3 1200 is $10 more and also around 10% faster without an OC plus it is 4c/4t vs 2c/4t though you already know this. Random Gaming did a comparison of the 4560 and 4620 a couple weeks ago.

The RAM is fine, 2133MHz which is probably the max supported speed for the 6700HQ on that motherboard.
Only the timings are kinda bad.

Krillingt75961 got a reaction from Daemonius in Has LTT made a comparison of different ways to apply thermal compound?
As the video that @legacy99 linked shows, application method doesn't matter very much. Also having too much on it is also very hard to do because attaching the heat sink/ water block will squeeze the excess out unless you have a cheap one that doesn't apply much pressure. While the whole heat spreader comes into contact with the heatsink/ waterblock, most of the heat transfer takes place in the middle since the die is centered. As long as the center is covered sufficiently, you will have good heat transfer so applying a pea sized amount is the most efficient method because you don't waste any and don't have to worry about it overflowing and getting all over the place because while most of it is non conductive, it still is a pain to clean up.

Try setting your Vcore manually. The board might be setting it higher which in turn increases temps. You might be able to get a stable OC at a lower voltage.
