  1. While watching Netflix I got a bsod restarted my pc and it wouldn't load into windows 10. My restore points are gone and can not reset my pc. I am currently doing a chkdsk c:/f/r/x to remove write protection. But have not really seen what's next. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated thanks!
  2. thank you all! yeah they are 11 and i figured that they would start to do some modding, class assignments, and that kinda stuff. i know more about maintenance and software. but hardware i know just enough to be dangerous and really appreciate all the feed back! one other question could i set up a external hard drive and have both PC's mine and there's hooked into it for steam games to run off that at the same time with out needing to set up a virtual computer?
  3. i have a ryzen 7 2700 and an older evga sc 1070. i used PC part picker and built a pc that looks like it would play Skyrim, Minecraft, and other popular aaa games. is there better parts that should be used? also i know the PS is over powered by 40 percent. any help will be appreciated as it has been a long time since i built a pc from the ground up. thanks everybody! 4. It didn't look like a messed up any pins but there is nothing from the PC at all. Not even the black start up screen
  5. While trying to replace my stock fan with a cooler master AIO in an hp where a lot did not match up. When I pulled off my CPU cooler it ripped out my CPU. I believe that this ruined my fx 8350 black chip, as when I power up the PC I hear the hdd start the GPU and CPU fans turn on the lights on the GPU turn on. But the main question is when I go looking at new motherboards I see a lot of information on chips and chipsets is there that much difference between the models of AMD 4 Ryzen
  6. Thanks guys just trying to my fx 8350 cool. The stock cooler isn't working anymore.
  7. Do radiators have to be mounted on the PC or can I make a base and mount it outside of the case?
  8. Hay i am having a problem with a H8-1414 last year i had to replace my HP CPU fan and now at random times the PC crashes and when i restart a error message saying 511 CPU fan not detected. the CPU fan is working tried to follow HP BIOS instructions but don't have the hardware monitoring on my 2013 HP Envy H8-1414. has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?
  9. make sure that any overclocking is off. FH will not work with any of them.
  10. is the motherboard from HP, Dell, ect? if it's a angelica(2) then no OC can take place period. and if it's not take the time to unplug and clean all the connections with can air and try that.
  11. i would start saving and when you find a GPU on sale upgrade next year, that's my two cents.
  12. Then re seat the CPU also make sure to have the retaining lever properly seated or some pins might not be active.
  13. i opened my window and and the issue has not re appeared i am just going to get new thermal paste and redo it. just have to make it to feb then i going to build a new computer and get away from HP and pre-built problems with shit components and really bad heat problems. and it does it's been that way seince i upgraded it a few years ago from a AMD FX 6120 to FX 8350
