  1. i'd say that you should either get the 7700K instead of the 7700, since you have a motherboard that supports overclocking. that, asuming 7700 was not a typo
  2. Guter Tag, Leute i am planning to build a small form factor movie streaming HTPC and was thinking to use the Pentium G4560. now here is my question: is the G4560 able to procces a 4k 60fps video while paired with a RX550? since this will most likely be the bottleneck i thought i'd ask with great regards, Acv159357n
  3. Will the celeron g9300 do? Its the cheapest i can find and i dont really have friemds that can lend a skylake out to me
  4. is there a way i can install the update with something like a USB instead of installing a skylake processor? i don't have a skyline in reach atm
  5. thank you very much, i'll give it a try! ill notivy when if it worked
  6. everything is in place the right way yes. i also tried to reassamble
  7. hey guys, yesterday i build my first pc, but when i try to turn it on, it stays on for about 10 seconds and then turns off. everything is getting power, the case fans are spinning and so is the cpu cooler. also the led strips torn on. i am not getting anything on my monitor, and i have tried multiple display interfaces. (HDMI, VGA) the buzzer doesnt make any sound no graphics card is installed yet. cpu is a intel Pentium g4560 and the motherbord is a gigabyte ga-b150m-d3h. i have 8 gb of corsaire vengance ram running in dual channel. thanks you very much
  8. its a 2€ difference where i live, and the bright red doesn't really fit astaticly in my case
  9. i think it will be this one https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/572983/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1060-windforce-oc-6g.html its just a bit more expancive than the gaming x and features a backplate with nice overall looks
  10. the mistake you are making here is comparing price, not performance. although price is most times a good indication, it is not in this case. the high clockspeed of 3.5Ghz and hyperthreading of the g4560 make up for its 2 cores up until a sertain point. although i understand and agree with you statement, it is not valid in this situation judging from multiple benchmarks
  11. note how he was talking about something like the 1080, and not a upper-midrange card like the 1060.
  12. hahaha marvelous. than i guess it will be the gaming x. either that or there is a less standard looking one for the prive available. thanks a lot for the help men!
  13. the benchmark chart brooksie359 showed us tells me ontherwise
  14. i was thinking about the msi gaming x version since it has a backplate (which is a must for me since the case is VERY open) and its one of the cheeper ones. i would rather not have one of the compact versions
  15. but, the 1060 6GB it is than. thank you very much do you reccoment a specific aftermarket one?
  16. haha indeed, the 4560 is a 60€ beast with its 3,5Ghz and hyperthreading
  17. benchmarkt say the 1060 isn't bottlenecked that much by the g4560..
  18. i've looked it up, but sadly the xl2720z doesn't have freesync, the xl2730z does though. but thanks for the help source: http://www.trustedreviews.com/benq-xl2720z-review
