  1. you should either upload some pictures, or discribe your problem better.
  2. since swapping cables helped, i am very confident its your psu. even though 450Watts is enough, a 600Watt unit wouldn't hurt in terms of future-proofing. hope you can fix it soon! good luck.
  3. danm haha, just ordered a other case because i was out of patience. but thanks!!
  4. hahaha good to know it is even shipping. looks like import would cost me more then the case itself
  5. would be my reaction normally, but it has been more than 2 weeks now. was just wondering if anyone else finds him or herself in the same scenario
  6. just be sure your psu has enough juice, you have top of the line components right there. i reccomand watching buildzoid's videos to see if your motherboard VRM is any good, and dont cheap out TOO much on the case.. you want good airflow with these components. and remember! more RGB = more FPS! ;)

  7. hey everyone, has anyone had a problem ordering a Phanteks P350X recently? it seems to be out of stock in all of the netherlands, belgium, and germany..
  8. the g4400 is just a dual core with a low clock, paired with single channel memory. your cpu is harshly bottlenecking your gpu. get either of the compatible i3's or the i5's, that would solve the problem. could also go to ryzen.
  9. not that i know. i think InWin showed some wood cases at CES2017?
  10. on a clean windows 10 install you should not expect these differances indeed, but i let MANY programs launch at boot, steam, battle.net, origin, email, ect ect. that is also a reason i have 32GB of ram
  11. i went from a 850evo to a 960 evo, and there is a clear difference. it went from 12 seconds to about 7, including bios boot-up. its up to you if you find it worth it. i have my os and programs on the 960, frequently used games on a 500GB 850 evo, and the rest on 2 2tb seagate drives in raid 0.
  12. The pc does post (obviously) with 2 gpu's installed, via the other card. Than that gpu gets detected but tge rx460 does not.
  13. Nope, ryzen 1600. My other gpu's do work in all the x16 slots, so its not the mobo.
  14. one monitor. msi B350m Mortar Arctic. rx460 has no power connector. it is in securly and re-seated.
  15. heyhey, i just recieved a rx460 4gb oc from msi, but it doesnt work. the fan spins, it gets warm, but no signal. the motherboard bios does not notice the pci-e slot being utilized, neither does windows. other gpu's work in the pci-e slot. what could be the problem? i am not able to flash the bios because the pc doesnt know the videocard is in there. best regards
  16. Too bad about the caps.. i think you are right. I allready have the replacement socket, so i'll try to find a motherbord with just a screwed socket, and intact caps. Thanks for the reply!
  17. thats the problem. ceramic capasitors like these small ones are not labled and undocumented by the manufacturer (MSI)
  18. meh, i'm talking about the very small ceramic capacitors that are inside the LAG socket. they're size 0805 (2.0x1.3mm) and dark brown.
  19. yes indeed. but my goal is to succeed haha. i'll look into a capacity meter, one that can measure such small capacities
  20. how would i kill myself..? its not like a power supply or something. the reason the socket was taken off, is because too many pins were bend, and the other owner wanted to replace it. too bad he f*cked up. really no danger by doing this. its low voltage, small capacity. if i would be opening a psu, sure. but snall SMD's like these are not a bit dangerous. maybe to swallow.
  21. heyhello, i got my hands on a free motherboard, with a missing cpu socket. now i can replace that, thats not the problem. the problem is, that the previewous owner moved a lot of the ceramic capacitors in the middle of the (LGA1150) socket. a lot are missing alltogether aswell. i dont have a capacity meter, how can i know what capacity capacitors i must install? i know one a bit different isn't that bad, but in what range should i be? i am experienced with microsoldering, replacing is no problem. best regards
  22. i would say 3 in the front, and when you have the money 3 more in total
  23. i would go up for a dark rock pro 4 with that overclock.
