  1. Lurking a long time on this forum and watching as good as every ltt video! Loving it so far and it made my computer knowhow increase like crazy. But still some doubts about my current config. I have a: Aerocool BattleHawk case with a 450 watt psu plus a noctua 120mm fan as in and a coolermaster 120 mm out. ASrock Pro 3 r2.0 motherboard AMD fx8350 + tx3 evo cooler with a noctua fan mounted on it. MSI GTX 1050 TI 4gb 8 GB DDR3 1600mhz For the people knowing these products: Yes! I recently figured out that the motherboard is CRAP. Yes i am on a really low budget and dont really have much money to save (mental issues so needed my own place and its worth every penny). Found out that the motherboards vrams are getting to hot and thermal throttle my cpu from 4ghz to 1.2ghz after a minute already with prime95 running. (downclocked it to running on 4 cores and it doesnt thermal throttle even after an hour of benchmarking) Figured out i had a problem since every game i play on high to ultra runs fine until i get weird few seconds fps drops and it drove me nuts haha. Went from a gtx 560 ti to a gtx 1050 ti because i lacked the Vram for some games to play higher then lowest settings. My dilemma is: Should i buy a better motherboard to use my cpu all eight cores or wait till around beginning May and go for an intel upgrade kit or buying the motherboard and cpu myself. Would i gain enough preformance with a better motherboard or is it more of a waste of money and better to just go for a intel board/cpu? I did a lot of research already about going for amd or intel and i noticed that intel becomes less hot mainly because of less power consumption. The whole reason why i doubt for making the transition. <--- only reason why i am doubting is because of money. I can spend around 100 euro`s now for a motherboard or wait till may and have around 400 to 500 euro. 500 is my MAX. My demands: I dont really want to overclock (still bit scared of it since its my only computer and lack the funds to cover a repair). Dont really have to play everything on ultra. medium to high is more then fine for me. More the better but keep in mind my lacking funds for a decent budget. Figured my 8 gb ddr3 1600mhz is more then enough. Noticed by monitoring with CAM software on my phone that i barely to never use fully 8gb of ram. Btw. I live in the netherlands so i use euro. Forgot to mention this! Already many thanks that you read this completely and hope for some nice informative comments.
