Not sure if its a Tech News, but still new and interesting.
So, this is a pretty cool video, showing a custom silent build.
Its supposed to be inaudible, and there will be future videos showing performance and how-to guide.

My thoughts so far: This guy does some pretty cool stuff in his youtube channel, and for sure it's not a project anyone can embark.
He makes some interesting comments during this video, such as the motherboard orientation to help with airflow and ease of access to the back plate i/o.
Im sure all of you have 12min to watch this video and the upcoming ones, that shouldn't take as long to upload as the multi-part videos some other youtubers do (I know you know who I'm talking about!)
Anyways, gonna put some SS.
(Just a heads up, not a pretty case inside!)
Conclusion time: This is not something practical, I wouldn't do it, neither have the skills or patience to try, BUT it's still pretty amazing!

So... here is the final video on the Quiet PC.
You can actually hear his heartbeat over the pc, it's insanely quiet!
A note people will question will be his choice of hardware.. I guess it's not a very powerful pc, BUT it still outputs as much or even more heat then a pretty powerful gaming rig.
I don't remember the cpu choice.
As for the gpu he's using a GTX 480.
Hope you guys enjoy this videos as much as i did, the build log is here "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHoqYBZMc_c"

Where did you get that information?
Google research on the matter:
http://www.buildcomputers.net/hdd-temperature.html
Hard disk temperatures higher than 45°C led to higher failure rates
Temperatures lower than 25°C led to higher failure rates as well
Aging hard disk drives (3 years and older) were much more prone to failure when their average temperatures were 40°C and higher - See more at: http://www.buildcomputers.net/hdd-temperature.html#sthash.BOagowG1.dpuf -
