I stumbled across this today. everyone is talking about how the phones dont come with a wall outlet. which I mean I can kind of understand apple trying to offset 5g and make more money while reducing emission. I dont like it but whatever. But What I cant understand or forgive is the new wireless charger doesnt come with one. Even as an apple fan this seems really cheap. They are literally selling you half a charger when you buy a charger. And because its an integrated usb type c cable you cant connect a type A to lighting cable to the charger to get by. You have to buy the new brick. I'm salty.

So i went in and reset the Bios and it still did it. Any ideas? I just need this PC to last till spring as that's when im planning a new build the my tax return. Just very Frustrating.

okay, so I'm scratching my head in trying to figure this one out. so my PC has this weird random tic where it will randomly skip the self tests, the mobo splash screen, and show the below image (ignore the dead spot, my ex threw a spoon at my monitor while i was working on a school paper). I thought maybe it meant that the ssd was failing so i bought a new one and its still doing the same thing. its random because sometimes it wont do it and will post and boot up completely normally. Simply hitting the power button and turning it back on 1-4 times has normally then caused it to boot normally and post. but now its increasing in frequency and number of times required to retry to start the pc. Just now it took me 43 times before it finally posted normally. when this screen is shown, the keyboard is unresponsive as as pressing a key doesn't do anything. numlock doesn't work and the keyboard back light does not even turn on. I have no idea what could be causing this as once its on it is completely stable and performance is as it has always been. I have a 4790k, MSI gd65 z77 mobo, 1866 XMP ddr3 16gb, GTX 980ti, and several ssds and hard drives. I've tried only leaving the boot drive connected and that does not make a difference. I'm not sure what could be causing this other than maybe a failing mobo? i tried disabling the cpu turbo boost thinking maybe the CPU was unstable since its older and that didn't help either. I'm at a loss. currently just been trying to leave it on but last night the power went out and that's what caused the frustration this morning. I'm hoping someone here has some ideas that maybe I have overlooked. thank you for your time.

I have wanted to get LTT merch but they don't have it for epic sized bois like me. I want a new hoodies but I don't want to be looking like Captain B. McCrea (see pic for obscure reference) while trying to wear it. I'm wondering what the chances are of getting bigger sizes available for special order.

I'm in a similar situation. I have the Orion spark keyboard (second one) but having issues with some of the keys either registering several times or not at all when typing. very annoying. I am also wanting to get something a little more "clicky" if that makes sense, as I enjoy the sound. perhaps with something tactile so I can more easily decern the actuation. been looking at the corsair k95 but im not sure which switches would be best. seems to be available in brown or speed. either that or maybe see what Razer has to offer. sucks because I liked Logitech but as this is my second keyboard I think its time to try something else.

the used UN-laptop challenge!(continuation of scrapyard wars) Linus and Luke would have to compete by taking used laptops, and taking them a part and making them take up as much space as possible( maybe a tower case? or something more creative?). they would have to use all the parts contained and could have a budget of 100 or 200 to "upgrade them" to pay for all their mods and extra hardware(i.e. weird water cooling system to let Linus oc his CPU or something) so you could see an advantage to using older as its larger, however not only would the finished projects be judged on the cost,aesthetic, but also performance. so there would need to be a creative balance between old hardware(space) new hardware(cost, space, performance). just an idea. i could already see linus making ad-lib jokes about bigger size being better...grinning at the camera anywho hope you are all having a great sunday.

Do you think the one I listed would be worth 250 extra to get the i7 7700hq and the 128 GB SSD?

I looked at the 15 Inspiron 7000(with the 1050ti, not sure how close that compares to the 1060) and I was about to get it and add more RAM myself but the reveiws are (at least on the new one) that the screen is quit bad. Granted for 830(on sale right now for presidents day) that's pretty tempting. And the 960m is even cheaper but I really want to get as powerful of a GPU as I can for the money.

While I agree that one is definitely more ideal, I'm looking for a little lower as I want to buy a new case for my desktop so that's a little on the hight side. Looking for around the 1 grand mark.
