  3. Hi everyone I am looking to do some music production on my PC at home. I have learnt Logic Pro 9 through my school on macs and I would like to use the same software at home. I, however run windows so the version my school gave me does not work. Could someone run me through, step by step how to set up a VM with hackintosh (if that even is possible) because I have looked online and all of the guides are not very clear (to me at least). I have never set up a VM before so any help is welcome. Thanks :)

  5. Hello People of the Linus Community My friend has recently asked for me to help him build a 400£ Gaming PC. I have completed the parts list and he is very happy with it. But I was wondering, On the ASrock b250 pro 4 motherboard (lga1151) will an Asus dual rx 460 gpu block the PCIe x1 slot as he requires wireless connections. Or woule it b better to get a board with built in wifi. Thx P.S. HERE IS THE PARTS LIST. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/KtJNVY

  9. Thank you very much for your time and effort. I am very grateful for your help as I am only a novice PC builder. My first reaction to this was that there must be something that he budgeted out on but thre is nothing. Thank you very much for your help.
  10. Hi, I am going to be building a PC with a friend at around July/August time 2017. I would really appreciate some help with picking some parts/tips and tricks. My budget is about £1300 or $1050(ish). My colour scheme for the build is Red/Black but I don't want to overdo it. I can also custom paint some parts (I will be painting the ram heatspreaders and anything else that may be needed). Current Parts List CPU:Intel Corei5 6600k CPU Cooler(first part I would like help with):Corsair H100i V2 or NZXT Kraken x62(more expensive but has rgb lighting) Motherboard: I would also like some help choosing this part. I will be using the Z170 chipset and as there are a lot of optios I do not really know which Mobo to go for. GPU:nVidia GeForce GTX 1070. Am unsure of which model to use so I would appreciate some help in that front. Storage: 1TB hard drive and 120gb SATA SSD. I would say that this is the thing that I am most sure about. RAM(or waaam):16gb Corsair Dom Plat PSU:EVGA SuperNova GS 550w (will also be getting some red/black sleeved cables from cableMod. Case:Phanteks P400s Tempered Glass Mid Tower ATX https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FwzpWX Once again, thank you very much for any help, hope that I get some replies soon
