  1. Booting in safe mode totally went over my head last evening. Was able to clear everything out this morning and get 365 installed. Thank you very much for your reply.
  2. As a disclaimer I am a novice and apologize in advance if I misuse words or my vocabulary is not spot on. The quick background to this situation is that a buddy of mine attempted to uninstall Office and reinstall. He needs to have issue resolved ASAP because this is his main business computer. I do not know the full extent to how we got to this point. He has a custom built Windows 10 system. I believe he had Office 2016 and then tried to install Office 365. When attempting to install Office 365 I receive a system restart 30068-39 (2) error. I have attempted to use the provided online resources to troubleshoot this error code. I have installed and run the Office uninstaller program multiple times. I have ensured no antivirus or firewalls are preventing the install. He tells me about the following issues; Here is a list of processes I cannot kill found in task manager. There are 7 instances of 'OfficeC2RClient.exe' running There are 8 instances of 'OfficeClickToRun.exe' running One instance of 'OFFICE.EXE' running There are 7 instances of 'WINWORD.EXE' running System has been rebooted multiple times. Same processes remain after every boot. When attempting to end each process in task manager, receive an 'access is denied' error on every process. Also attempted to end process tree. Using the properties of each process I can trace the file to its source but cannot delete the programs because it states that it is currently in use. (Program Files > Common Files > microsoft shared > ClickToRun...) Tried using the service tab in the task manager. All right-click options are disabled. Using command prompt as admin I attempted to task kill each process and also using their PIDs only to receive an error stating that there is no instance of that task. I am not sure what else to attempt. I became pretty frustrated. Hoping it is a simple solution I am totally overlooking. Hoping to go back to his office tomorrow to fix the solution. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    AT&T Gigabit?

I agree. My folks live in the same general area and are still using the provided AT&T modem and router and it isn't terrible. But they only have a 50/5 service. Don't know how much I would trust their hardware or any ISP hardware at gigabit speeds. But hey, just an excuse to invest into a new and shiny router. Now only if I could afford a stupid crazy router like the Nighthawk X10...

    AT&T Gigabit?

That is very true. The only options are AT&T or a local ISP that only offers a max service of 75/5 for around the same pricing.
  5. Hello folks, I am about to move to an apartment complex in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that offers AT&T as an ISP selection featuring their gigabit fiber service at $80/mo. Thus, I am curious if any you in the LTT community have had any experience (good or bad) with AT&T fiber gigabit?
