  1. Hi there, folks! I have a pair of 3200 MHz CL16 memory sticks from HyperX. The report in Thaiphoon shows RAM Manufacturer as Samsung but in the JEDEC section, the name that shows up is SK Hynix. My question is, is my RAM Samsung B-Die or SK Hynix? Thanks in advance and stay safe out there in these times!
  2. Thank you so very much to all of your answers!
  3. I think I'll upgrade to an NVME. I was looking at the ADATA SX8200 Pro for a while now. Any thoughts on that one?
  4. Thank you very much for the response. I guess I'll upgrade it then.
  5. Hello. I have an SSD from Kingston that works perfectly fine. After seeing LTT's video of the $20 SSD I've decided to test the speed for my SSD only to discover that the write speed is 140 MB/S while for LTT's clip it was more than 440 MB/S. The read value is as it should be, ~510 MB/S. Is there a problem with the SSD or my system?
  6. Hello. I've recently upgraded my motherboard to a Gigabyte Aorus B450 M. Before this motherboard, i've had an ASUS Z170-a motherboard and my case fans worked perfectly fine. After the upgrade, the case fans are no longer spinning. They are plugged in to the motherboard just like before. The fans have a 3-pin connection, while the motherboard has a 4-pin connector. The BIOS says 0RPM for all case fans and cannot be modified. Do i need a 3-pin to 4-pin adaptor or is there another problem?
  7. Completely wiped everything, even the HDD (the boot partition is an SSD). Still not solved.
  8. Hello guys. I've been trying for some time to get a fresh windows install. I've downloaded it from Microsoft official site and i've also downloaded it from some trackers, just so i could get some different .iso image to format my computer. The thing is, after i select no at the Microsoft OneDrive screen, it 'automagically' sets up my old Microsoft account, with the old password, avatar and even users folder, which has a typo in it from long ago. I've tried everything i could, but apparently something is happening with the OneDrive setup, even if i click no. When the format is complete, the OneDrive icon is in the task bar, minding its business, ready to back-up files from my PC. How can this be fixed? Can it be fixed at all? Thanks in advance for your help.
  9. Finally, update time. My CPU integrated Graphics has died, and that's the whole reason it wasn't posting. Bought a graphics card and the CPU is running fine.
  10. tried it but with no success. tomorrow i`ll go with my mobo to the seller and try to get a new one. will update
  11. no, i have 2 but i've tried with one stick individually and then with both
  12. Tried booting with one stick of RAM, tried reseating each RAM stick in each RAM slot on the board, still no boot
  13. Hello. So this morning i woke up and booted my PC all right. Then i switched it off for ~3 hours and when i tried to switch it back on i had no video input. I don't have a dedicated GPU, i run the on board graphics from an Intel Core I7-6700K. It happened to me once already so i thought powering off the PSU would do the trick. I did that but this time, it didn't even boot. The red LED light from the CPU is lighting up for a second then it goes off and the RAM LED is staying on for 5 seconds, then it goes off. I tried removing all the RAM sticks and booting up and the LED stays red to indicate a problem, so i figured it's not the RAM that's the issue. I removed the BIOS battery, tried to clear the CMOS but it still won't boot. I have noticed that one keyboard LED is always on, no matter if the PC is on or off. Is this an issue with my motherboard or am i doing something wrong?
  14. Tried it before writing here. It installs with the option disabled but active.
  15. Still not working. Did everything ad literam and still no result.
  16. The option was disabled in Safe Mode too, but the letters were still underlined. So it didn't work once again...
  17. It's already disabled, but the option is still active somehow.
  18. Hello. I have a problem with an ASUS Vivobook X541UA laptop which consists of the underlining of some letters in menus. I've tried to disable this option via regedit, checking the options in windows that are responsible for this but they are all disabled, yet the option is somehow still active. How can i disable it? Are there any other hidden options or settings from BIOS? I have attached a screenshot with the right click menu.
