Ah yeah I've helped people out from SA in the past and shipping from Amazon was amazingly the best option. If you can afford to do $30 more, get the 250GB SL308, and happy building!

For someone who is not going to game at all, the 1050 and the 1050 Ti are the same. CUDA accelerated rendering doesn't scale amazingly for GPU power  (according to Linus' rendering GPU showdown)

not really, old xeons will eat lot more power while delivering less performance.

Then get a newer one with a higher clock and more cores, You can find some good servers for like $200 us, it's really not worth to build one unless you are doing multiple file transfers like what Linus (my girl) has.

You could save the $30 by getting a smaller SSD but I still recommend the SL308 because you want as high performance on your SSD as possible.

They do cost a bunch less, like it's not uncommon for 2 E5-2670s to go for $100 bundled. Of course it's a lot harder to find 2 x LGA 2011 motherboards.
