  1. the reasoning for the 1080ti is to run everything at max settings and 144 fps for the next 2-2.5 years. would i be able to do that with a gtx 1080?
  2. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2Mk3Gf I want to try to OC the 1700x as far as possible. I would be switching the fans on either one of these for high air flow corsair fans. So with that, in terms of performance, what would be the better pone for my needs.
  3. But for OCing the 1700 I think the aio would be better? What's the best air cooler I can get that won't be an eye sore. (Remember tempered glass case, I want it to be as clean as possible).
  4. Okay thanks for the help/ saving me a good chunk of money
  5. So there won't be any problems? Would I have a noticeable difference with the 960 evo?
  6. What will be better in this build a 960 evo or an 850 evo? Would like to save money if I can buy would like to have the overall best experience when it comes to both streaming and gaming. (I do plan on uploading the streams to YouTube if that will make a difference). If any other info is needed just ask! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/g6xy2R
  7. did he say he wouldnt? no. Dont make assumptions, plenty of people dev in vms. Seeing from your recent forum posts youve been taking hot L's all day. Please do not misinform people. That is all.
  8. so why did u say wait for them if you can find any info on the @pelark
  9. you can allot tasks to one card or another. I know sli doesn't combine the amount into one but if he properly manages what tasks go to what gpu's he can have a max theoretical of 22 gigs.
  10. yes? and he has 2 of them which gives him a theoretical 22 gigs of vram?
  11. Honestly youll love the 1080ti. Like mentioned earlier the titans are basically over priced lol
  12. i dont seem to be able to find anything on a new corsair release. Can you link it please?
  13. im planning on building around the June 23rd time frame. When will they be out?
  14. i dont really need it now... i just dont feel like paying more money for a slightly better aio and rgb. Yes it may look better but the performance is virtually the same from what ive researched.
  15. it will be just below the gpu. Any reccommendations on heatsinks for this drive? dont really know where to start looking.
  16. but as for individual cards it may not stack but processes can be allotted to one gpu or the other
  17. The 2 1080 ti's will give you much more vram to play around with so id go with that.
  18. this is my build. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9MTtYr i have had a couple people tell me i need to get a heat sink to cool the m.2 to prevent thermal throttling. Is this true or will i be able to run the 960 evo at decent temps with no heat sink?
  19. i dont care about rgb so i went with the 155i. I am also a backer that the 850 is the superior drive, but i do want to try the sk hynix to see what the fuss is about (even tho its a $20 difference)
  20. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/TheMinnesotanMan/saved/XsF23C how is this now?
  21. so go with the hynix (since the info i had was wrong) and switch to the h100i v2?
  22. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XzNBpb Im willing to change around the parts a little bit. Mainly the monitor. But am open to suggestions. If its about the ssd yes i do know about the hynix drive, I want the slight performance boost of MLC over TLC.
