But are you using MSI afterburner or EVGA Precision to overclock the GPU? You want to at least turn the power limit / temp target to max. It'll stabilize the highest clock of the GPU for you.

and if you want to play some more, unlock the voltage control, max that out, and start adding core clock / memory clock, though it might take some time in Heaven to get it to be stable.

Hey guys just was wondering what you thought of the finished product here. This is my first time modding any parts at all...actually come to think of it this is the first time I used spray paint, and I was just wondering what you guys thought of how it turned out! If anyone wants to know more lemme know. FYI that Hue+ isnt staying in that exact spot thats why it's like that.

for 2560x1440 a single GTX 1080 is more than enough...for 3440x1440 Gsync 100hz mean you're full of money wait for GTX 1080ti and pick one with bad ass cooling.

after running lords of the fallen for about 5 mins I closed the game check my fans 2 mins later and now 2 fans are spinning, perhaps you are correct, fans go on their own accord depending on the temps

aaand, all fans just stopped spinning right after I posted that, it's weird I haven't seem asus say anything about this with the fans. performance and temps are completely normal while gaming and at idle as well.

Yeah, but also, would it be reasonable to contact Dell before anything, maybe it is possible to get it repaired/replaced by them for lets say, half the price?
Since it is 200€ monitor, I don't really want to risk anything to damage it further.

Based on what I've seen from laptops, iGPU's on modern Intel CPU's can handle 4K just fine for desktop use, but certainly not gaming unless you're talking something like Doom95.

(Using a source port, I have played Doom95 at 4K on an iGPU with about 70 fps )

Monitor, Cooler, both hard drives (ssds), GPU, and RAM should be ok. If you upgrade anything make it the mobo and CPU because CPU is outdated so if you get new mobo you can get new CPU. Maybe wait for AMD Ryzen and see if anything appeals to you.
