  1. Hi all, Back again for some good advice! I've had my Sennheiser Game ZEROs for just over 4 years now and they're finally falling apart so I need to replace them. I did like the leather sides and that they cover over my entire ear. I mainly purchased them because I thought the microphone on it was one of the best on a headset. My price range is between £100 to £200, it must have a decent enough microphone, the rest I don't mind too much but of course if the audio could be as ok as the Sennheiser headset! Many Thanks, Matt
  2. Thank you for the recommendation! I had a look at the case, but it doesn't seem for me. It looks/feels to similar to my current case, so a bigger upgrade I think than that would be in my best interests! I'll keep looking and watching other videos on cases though! Cheers, Wolfy
  3. Cheers, i'll take a look at the video and see what i think!
  4. I'd expect in the next year or so i'll be travelling with it another 4/5 times, but i'd rather stick with a desktop! Tried a laptop and didn't enjoy it I use my Microsoft Surface Pro for my University work so I do have that. All be it's super underpowered with an m3-7Y30 processor (so I'll need to upgrade that at some point)
  5. Ah sorry forgot to add a budget! My budget would be up to around £150 or about $200 but if there are decent options below that then that's great! As for the option of Micro Atx I guess that isn't possible with my current motherboard? And i'd like to keep that for now. Feel free to recommend some mid tower or full cases then! Cheers, Wolfy
  6. Hi All, Hope you're doing well! I've been using my old NZXT S340 for quite a few years now and as i travel quite a lot due to being a University Student some damages have occurred! I'm hoping to get a new case as soon as I can ready for the RTX 3080 Launch. I use an atx motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming 5 AMD X370) with the ROG Strix 1080Ti Currently (which I guess is a fairly long card) Would you recommend sticking with the same form factor of Mid Tower, or perhaps move to a smaller form factor case? Any recommendations on anything is appreciated, and if you require anymore information feel free to ask! Many Thanks, Wolfy
  7. Budget around £150 Hey guys and gals :), so recently my headphones have fell apart and are breaking more and more which is the HyperX Cloud Revolver. In the past I have used the HyperX Cloud IIs but unfortunatly I have had 4 of them break within a year and a half, so im not really sure if I should go with HyperX Anymore (although their customer service is great imo) So, I am now looking for a headset that have as good or maybe even better comfort than they Hyperx Cloud IIs or Revolver. I also cannot decide If I want a headset or headphones as I currently have my microphone on my revolver which I use for Discord and in game voice chat but I use my blue snowball for Streaming, and I cannot really get the audio to be perfect on the snowball as im not really that experienced at all with audio devices etc. I mainly spend my days playing E sports titles and FPS games and listening to music. I was going to purchase the Arctis 7s but found that they didn't look very comfortable and the mic quality was not great by any means, I then found the Sennheiser Game Ones, the mic sounded pretty great however i'm not too sure about the comfort. So if you guys could possibly come up with some headset/headphones for around £150 it would be great.
  8. Just a little update im not exactly sure why but everything seems to be working now and hasn't been not letting me click so i'm very happy I tried booting it in safe mode but it still happened unfortunately but the next day everything was fine. SO thank you for all of your support
  9. Windows 10: So recently since the new April update I have been experiencing issues both on my laptop and desktop computer, however my brothers computer does not have this issue. What has been occurring is when im using my computer and I go to click something on my taskbar or click the minimise, exit or create a new tab button on browsers, nothing happens, when I hover over icons the image does not go lighter to show that you are hovering over it and this occurs every minute or so and the only thing I can to to temporarily fix it for another minutes is to Ctrl + Alt+ Del and open task manager, since for some reason it lets me click the task manager text. I have also tried resetting Windows Explorer several times but still only works for about a minute. I have also tried system file checker and found no issues.
  10. Hard drives are probably around 3 years old my SSD is like 2 weeks old and the past 2 crashes I haven't gotten any error codes my pc just crashed and restarted without any blue screen. However, when I use my GTX 970 it seems like the BSOD occurs a lot more than usually mostly the error MEMORY_Managment
  11. So this has been on going for over a month now pretty much my PC just keeps crashing within the first 10 minutes of playing Overwatch and I have had to have my Mobo RMA'd and it has not resolved anything. I've had all of my RAM sticks tested I've had my PSU voltages tested and I have tried two different GPUs the GTX 970 and GTX 1050. These are all of my PC specs im hoping you lovely people can help CPU: AMD Ryzen 1700x GPU: MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 650W Motherboard: Gigabyte AX370-Gaming 5 (AM4) Monitors: Asus VS248HR 24 inch 1 ms Gaming Monitor x2
  12. Took the battery out for a good 5 minutes. My motherboard has RGB lights. And I know it's not my monitors because I tried connecting my laptop to it and it displayed just fine
  13. System configuration Motherboard: GIGABYTE AORUS GA-AX370-GAMING 5 AMD X370 CPU: AMD Ryzen 1700x RAM: 16GB Corsair DDR4 2666MHz GPU: MSI Twin Frozr GTX 970 PSU: EVGA G2 650W GOLD Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO Storage: Samsung 850 Evo 250Gb 1TB western Digital HDD 2TB Seagate HDD Troubleshooting steps you already did I have read the README: How to respond to a no POST or no power up situation and performed all of the steps mentioned for my issue but none of them have fixed my issue unfortunatly. Unplugged all cables and plugged them back in. Replaced CMOS battery Swapped HDMI from GPU to my motherboard. Took out monitor power cables and HDMI and put them back in. Reseated all hardware Any additional information that may be relevant. So I have just gotten my new parts about a week ago and since I didn't have an AM4 bracket for my Corsair H75 I had to use my Cooler Master cooler so I put that together today. Now all day i've been having constant BSOD issues such as memory managment, and system thread exception. So then I started playing a game with some friends on discord and whilst playing my pc crashed so I had to shut it down and turn it back on but now when I turn it on my monitors do not display anything and im stuck with a black screen. Any ideas on anything else I could try??
  14. Managed to fix it I just unpluuged all of my storage devices apart from my USB and hard drive and installed it onto my hard drive thrn im gonna set my HDD as my boot device and then install it onto my SSD
  15. Forgot to mention that my pc doesn't even let me access my bios... it just goes straight to that black screen
  16. So as usual.. I have another problem Since I have installed a new CPU motherboard and RAM I decided to reinstall windows 10. So I used the media creation tool on my USB and booted from it and it loaded fine so I chose to install it on my new SSD and then i got the problem in the image below. And then 1 minute after doing that my PC shut down and now all I get is the message in the other image below. If any other information ia required i'll try my best to give what informatio I can ;-; CPU: Ryzen 1700x Motherboard:GIGABYTE AORUS GA-AX370-GAMING 5 AMD X370 (SOCKET AM4) DDR4 ATX MOTHERBOARD
  17. I'd like to confirm that is it every 1700X and 1800X processor that displays the temperature 20 degrees higher or just most of them?
  18. So i've been upgrading my for mopst of the day from an AMD FX 6300 to an AMD Ryzen 1700x and well my Corsair H75 doesn't have a bracket for AM4 so i've had to make do with the bracket I have and my cooler I guess doesn't sit on it properly so my temps are like 95 degrees Celsius. Anyone got any ideas on how I can resolve this temporarily whilst I wait for my CPU bracket to arrive ;-; http://prntscr.com/etsi1p
  19. I agree with you there is there any keyboard for £100 or below that you could recommend for me then?? Must have backlighting of some sort though
  20. I'll take all of your ideas into consideration and will try and see what I can do also I have just spent like £700 on new parts so won't have money for PC components until next month but can any of you recommend a good microphone for maybe £100 if that's possible or do you think the one I have now is fine??
  21. Could you provide any recommendations??
  22. Hey guys it's my first post here on the LTT forums and I hope to be posting a lot more things here on the forums. So last year I was hoping on livestreaming and I have my Auna MIC-900 USB Cardioid Studio Condenser Microphone and HyperX Cloud Revolver, however unfortunately my processor was not up to the task so i've now ordered myself the AMD Ryzen 1700X. However, when im on Discord or Skype or anything both microphones pick up a lot of my keyboards sound which is the Razer Blackwidow 2014 Ultimate which is pretty loud. So I was wondering if there is anything I could do whether that be configuring settings or buying something so the my microphone cancels out all or most of outside sounds like my keyboard or mouse clicks.
