  1. How can i let blocked website/s on the pfblockerng dnsbl list/s through, while still using the easylist/s / dnsbl list/s so that i can use it & stop getting this page;
  2. I've done everything but these last part, which i've been trying to find & when i find something similar to what you said & change some settings, it still doesn't work, so i don't exactly know how to do, could you explain more on it?
  3. Hi, i am NEW to Pfsense, so i was wondering, if anybody that knows how to configure opt1 and opt2 as additional LAN interfaces, can help me out with it? Pfsense is default with 1 WAN & 1 LAN already but i want to use my additional 2 intel ports as LAN as well, so if you could in dept/detail explain to me, on how to do it, it'd be greatly appreciated. I plan to use 1 LAN for my Ps4 Pro, another for my Gaming Laptop & the last for my Ubquiti Access Point.
  4. What packages on Pfsense can be used to adblock? if you don't mind, explaining in detail of how to do it as well, it'd be appreciated. I already know that Pfblocker, as well as, i think, squid? or was it squidguard, that can adblock as well? but i don't exactly know how to do it, in detail, so any, in detailed help is greatly appreciated.
  5. I currently don't have one, i'm just looking into getting one while researching more about pfsense along the way. All i can say is that there could possibly be 12-15 devices on at the same time & i do plan to use VPN, i don't really know much about the other features yet, so i'm going to start looking into it more soon. A few days ago i went from wanting to replace my ISP's router with a consumer grade, something around asus ac3200 to netduma R1 ( for gaming ) to now a custom open source firewall router :L so i'm still limited in my knowledge about all of this but i'm looking into it more so yea.
  6. does either of these allows for more users to be on the same router?
  7. I was wondering what adding more ram or storage ( ssd ) to a pfsense device would do to it individually ?
  8. How about if i want to use the Pfsense as my main router? will i be able to set up features on the Pfsense that the Netduma R1 has? " A lot of the features that make the netduma special are going to require that it has direct access to the internet, and if there is a layer of NAT inbetween, you would manually have to forward ports to the NetDuma, or set it in the DMZ of the PFSense router. " does that mean i can set it up? Could u explain how to do it if so, or will the answer to my first question in this post mean i won't need a Netduma R1? Also internet speed wise, i chose to go with the Pfsense because i want to future proof my router while using the features of the Netduma R1 to game with.
  9. " With another router installed, even just a PFSense one, the netduma will be effectively hamstrung. " how will it be hamstrung? if u don't mind explain in detail? Like i said " I mainly want to use the features & hardware benefits of the Pfsense & most of the firm/software features of the Netduma R1. " so if i could possibly get help with that it would be great. Edit: how about if i want to use the Pfsense as my main router? will i be able to set up features on the Pfsense that the Netduma R1 has?
  10. Well i'm trying to find people that can help me with my many questions above, so thanks for letting me know, what i already know.
  11. that is not answering any of my many questions?
  12. I was wondering about the different ways the Netduma R1 can be set up behind a Pfsense. This is for a household with 1 wired Ps4 Pro, 1 wired gaming laptop, 2 wireless laptops ( Macbooks ), 1 wireless Ps4, 5-8 smartphones for internet use with a peak hour speeds of 95 mbps download & 38 mbps upload. Can i set up the Netduma R1 as an access point behind the Pfsense? If so, how? If not, can i or should i, add an access point behind the Netduma R1 that is behind the Pfsense? I mainly want to use the features & hardware benefits of the Pfsense & most of the firm/software features of the Netduma R1. Would i also be able to use the vpn hybrid feature of the Netduma R1, if i use the vpn feature on the Pfsense? If i can, should i? If i can't, then is it better to use the vpn on the Pfsense or Netduma R1? Hardware specifications of the Pfsense i will be using is Intel Celeron Quad Core CPU J1900 Bay Trail 2.0GHz, 2MB L2 Cache 4 Gigabit ethernet Intel NIC ports 4GB PC-1600 DDR3L RAM in a single SO-DIMM 8 or 16GB mSATA SSD ----> does it matter how much storage i have?
