  1. Yeah We had this machine running on the 2200g vega 8 for like 4 months now, and I have a budget of $250 for the video card. obviously I am looking for value, not just buy the gpu that cost 250. The less the better that means more money for actual games!
  2. I am wondering what grahics card should I buy for my wife’s PC, she games at 1080p, casual games. Here is a link to her pc parts: https://bit.ly/2OUaVxw PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3QgmQZ Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3QgmQZ/by_merchant/ CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($98.49 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: ASRock - B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($79.61 @ OutletPC) Memory: Team - Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Storage: Kingston - A400 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($27.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($58.89 @ OutletPC) Case: Rosewill - FBM-X1 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($26.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair - CXM 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (Purchased For $0.00) Optical Drive: LG - GH24NSC0B DVD/CD Writer ($18.88 @ OutletPC) Monitor: AOC - i2769Vm 27.0" 1920x1080 60Hz Monitor ($179.99 @ Amazon) Total: $490.84 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-10-29 12:51 EDT-0400 So the monitor ahe curretly uses is a 1080p @ 60hz. So what I am looking for is te best graphics card for the money, that will not be bottled neck by the CPU. And that will game future games at 1080 60hz. Thanks in adavance!
  3. Well Thanks Everybody this has been of much Help and instead of going with either the 8100 or 2200g, I will go with the Ryzen 5 1600, 6 cores with 12 threads, and best of all it ia still under 600 dollars for the build, sweet! Here’s a link to the new part list. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Miguelito2663/saved/rz66sY
  4. I had the exact same problem with a prebuilt PC that I upgraded back then with a 750ti. What was wrong with mine was the power supply didn’t have enough power for the system with this new card, so obviously I bought it a new one it work perfectly until I built my own PC and forgot the other one XD.
  5. Intel i3 8100 or Ryzen 3 2200g Hello I need help deciding between these two CPUs and their respective MoBo. First of all I am building a PC for my wife. She will use it to do light editing for her side job (at most 1080p rendering) and she would also like to game on it. She is more of a casual gamer(Minecraft, Fortnite, Rocket League etc) but ahe probably would like to play some of my steam library’s games. Our budget is about $600 máximum(lower is better XD): so here are the parts in this link. I already own the Power Supply from a previous build/upgrade. Thanks a lot in advance, and let me know what you think, which one is better in performance, value and upgradability?
  6. alright thanks, I'm not really worried about the electricity cost, I life in a house with roommates(or should I say House-mates?), and we divided each bill on each of us (I pay water lol) and two other roommates pay the electricity. so what wattage PSU will be ebough for the two cards?
  7. Hi, I have a question, I've being hearing everywhere about mining crypto-currencies, to get profit on bitcoin, and I want to try it. I have an old GTX 960, that is just lying around and I wanted it to put it to work. But the thing is I don't have a rig for it, and I do not want to spend money just to get a mining rig. My current system is: a Z720-A PRO MoBo, an EVGA 650g PSU and GtX 1070 Graphics Card. I don't want my 1070 to mine because I heard that it puts the cards to its limits and my cause the card to die sooner. The mother board has 2 PCI-e 3 x16 slots, its compatible with cross fire, but no SLI(also you need the same card to sli/crossfire). So my question is if I throw the card in my system will it work just to mine with that card? or will it be issues with drivers and stuff?
  8. Yeah i followed the instructions like that, but I going to double check just in case. Thanks for warning
  9. Its called running out of budget, I decided to go with it because I need it to cut cost in some places, So I went with a lower cost cooler, and later in the year Upgrading to liquid Cooler.
  10. for what I had read the 6600k and 7600K are not really that different. just more OC capablities, what I was more worried about is my CPU Cooler, its the Hyper 212 EVO, I don't have water cooling, I don't want to OC more than my cooling system can handle.
  11. Hey, yeah I have and SSD is the OCZ TRION 150. O yeah it is crooked Will that affect CPU temperature?
  12. I want to Overclock my CPU and I am new on Overclocking, I do not know what is the preferable Clock speed for my build.I would Like to know If any of you out there could help me with this. My MOBO supports OC from BIOS. If someone has a rig with my or similar specs, I would like to know what Clock Speed have work out Good for you. Thanks These are the specs of my PC: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PTcCkT
  13. Hello, I just completed my "first" build, I used to have another PC, but a friend was the one that pretty much build it, and choose the parts. I did not really game much on it. The only games I played on it were: Minecraft and Skyrim. I wanted to play the new games at a decent frame rate at 1080p(my monitor is 1080p). Also having some future proof for maybe going to 1440p. But that old PC just didn't keep up. So I decided to build a PC by myself. So I can truly call myself a PC gamer. So I researched videos of Computer parts for months, save money to buy the parts. So this is waht I came up with: CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler MOBO: MSI Z270-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory Storage: SSD OCZ TRION 150 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive HDD Hitachi Ultrastar 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply Case: NZXT S340 (Black/Blue) ATX Mid Tower Case PcPartPicker Link After recieving all my parts thru mail I decided to grab a Screw driver and put all the parts together and Whala! my new PC was ready to game on(Actually to Install Windows on it). I choose the i5-7600k because I want to overclock it and get a bit more power. My question is, will my CPU cooler be a problem? or the PSU? The only part that I did not like as much( I will definitely change in the future would) is the Hard Drive. I grabbed the cheapest 2TB HDD, and it is super noisy, it sounds like a really old machine from 1998 or something like that. Well I guess you get what you pay for. So, what do you think about my build? Do you like it? Would you change anything about it? PD: Sorry for my horrible grammar, English is not y first language, so I am sorry if your Eyes are hurting in pain due my bad writing skills
  14. Hello, I want to get suggestions on whether to upgrade my PC or just start a new build. I am aiming for a gaming PC capable of running games at 1080p@60fps between High and Ultra Settings(if available). My current Build is the following: CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) X4 760K Quad Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.8GHz (with stock cooler) RAM: (1) Crucial ballistix 8GB lowprofile 1600 DDR3 and (2) Crucial ballistix 4GB 1600 DDR3. Total of 16GB DDR3 memory GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB. MOBO: Asus A88XM-A. PSU: Corsair CX430 80 PLUS Bronze. HDD: WD Blue 1TB at 7200 Rpm.(I want to get more space, either and SSD or another HDD). OS: Windows 10 Pro. What part(s) of my computer should I upgrade to play games at the resolution stated above?, Or, should I just start a new build? My Budget right now is between $500-600 USD. I only play in One monitor at 1080p, and I don't really think in upgrading to more monitors or better monitors in a while. Also I do not need to buy any peripherals, as you may guessed it, I already have all the necessary for gaming. Thanks a lot
