  1. Installed the current set of drivers. All that ended up changing was the *type* of BSOD's occuring. I ended up returning the 16GB Vulcan Ram, buying a pack of Corsair Vengeance 16GB, I haven't had a single issue since.
  2. Hi all, I just finished a new build on Saturday night but have been getting hit with a lot of BSODs. PC Specs are: CPU: Ryzen 5 1600x CPU cooler: CM Hyper 212 evo Mobo: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 Memory: 16GB Vulcan Ram – 1 stick 2400 Storage: WD m.2 500 gb PSU: Corsair cx650m GPU: Asus Strix 1050TI OC edition I installed windows via a flash drive, and am currently running it without a key for the time being (hoping to get this straightened out before purchasing it) I installed every recommended driver from Gigabyte, updated the bios the rev 7, and updated drivers from Nvidia as well. I also went into settings and updated all recommended drivers from windows as well. As far as programs I have installed, Chrome, Nvidia Experience, Gigabyte app center, Steam, Paladins and Unigine heaven. Saturday night I installed Rocket league after all of this half way through an exhibition I received my first BSOD. I looked up the code on google and proceeded to tinker away, receiving a few more here but proceeding to follow the steps to fix them. By the end of Saturday night I thought I had it figured out as I was able to run the full benchmark with no issue and played multiple games of Rocket league showing no issue. Sunday morning I then wanted to install another small game and started to play. I installed Paladins (directly from Hi-Rez). I began playing and roughly 3 minutes into the game I get hit with another BSOD. At this point the cycle began again, nearly every time a different BSOD code. The list of BSOD codes I’m currently receiving are: Stop code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT HANDLED What Failed: amdppm.sys Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION What Failed: win32kbase.sys Stop code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED What Failed: rx640x64.sys Stop code: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA What Failed: NTFS.sys Stop code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED What Failed: CLASSPNP.SYS Stop code: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED Typically, these have occurred while playing the games, but have also now been happening during boot up or just light browsing. There were also a few memory related codes that happened earlier, but at that time I didn’t begin taking notes, chalking it up as 1 or 2 hiccups that would be a quick fix. I did run a windows memory diagnostic, and was told it detected hardware problems. I changed ram slots and it still detects all 16 gb of ram. If need be I can return it to the store and get a replacement. I just want to be sure. I have also gone into cmd and ran SFC / scannow and fixed one or two errors it had found. At this point I’m at wits end. First, I appreciate anyone who actually read all of that. And second, I’d really appreciate any all input.
  3. Maybe try to do at least 1 per month? That way the channel doesn't slide off into the abyss.
  4. What about the Honor 6x? It seems like it would be a solid phone in the price range.
  5. That's what my searches were leading me to believe. Luckily I didn't have much in it. Thanks.
  6. I picked up a cheap DELL Ultrasharp 3017 at an auction the other day, and when turning it on you can see the screen display panel is cracked. I can make money back selling it for parts online, but I'd like to see if I can fix it. Has anyone here fixed one of these before? Or at least does anyone know where I can find replacement panels? My web searching hasn't been very fruitful.
