  1. Hello, Im new to this, please help me out, I have a windows PC that I set up a vpn on and im trying to connect to it from my chromebook. I have done the port forwarding already. What the heck do I do? What provider type is it? What is The Username/Password(Windows login?) whats a group name?
  2. I have 4x8GB sticks of Vengeance Pro RGB ram. All four are recognized in icue. One of them simply will not light up. I have tried everything from a reseat, to cleaning the pins with isopropyl, to changing out what slot im using, to reflashing the firmware(the 16 times corsair support told me to, to complete Bios reflash and windows reinstall. Corsair said there is nothing they can do because my system has a Ryzen 7. My motherboard is the B350f from asus running the latest bios. What can I do
  3. what, you think anything under 8k@133.7hz is acceptable? silly mortal
  4. to answer your question, i believe so, but a single 2080ti would be fine, and would not waste any extra money on a second
  5. a 2200G, even the new $50 Athlon would fix the bottleneck my advice to @Rani would be to use his old card until he can afford a better CPU/MOBO combo
  6. I think his main issue was with the CPU being maxed http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-3-2200G-vs-AMD-Athlon-II-X4-860K/m441832vs3265
  7. that looks like one h*ck of a bottleneck to me. Sad to say it, but you might need a better CPU. If you cant spend too much, get the new Athlon. RIP
  8. I restarted my system multiple times, and I now see that my update never posted A program I installed was preventing my graphics drivers from being properly used(i guess?) it was duet display soo, dont use that app on windows
  9. When i updated my drivers i got them from here https://www.geforce.com/drivers
  10. Hello, I have a GTX 1080 and i have not been able to do some things (as the title says). i keep getting this error with icue. Ive tried updating my drivers but that does not seem to have worked.
  11. Hey, thank you everyone for trying to help. I think @W-L had the answer, but I misunderstood what he was talking about and i speant half an hour tearing myself and my room apart for something that i dont need. Thanks for letting me vent(and be a little stupid)
  12. Hey so it looks like my mobo’s m.2 bay is directly above air in my case. Also i cant seem to find any screws
  13. So, i bassically just tore apart the whole pc trying to find out whats wrong, and it turns out that there is just open air behind my mobo’s m.2 drive
  14. Ohh, those are standoffs that are missing i actually dont have any standoffs because i didnt know what they were when i was building my pc, it just hasnt blown up yet so i havent bothered
  15. I cant seem to find how im supposed to put this M.2 drive. Ive gone through just about everywhere i would have put screws but still dont know.
  16. ive never been to this place, but google reviews are all 5 stars, so it can be that bad
  17. well that sucks. Ill take it in this weekend and see if it's worth fixing
  18. The hinge actually broke long before i dropped it. Just the floppieness and clicking was from me dropping it. So maybe they could replace it without me taking it to my local computer shop thats not best buy
  19. i guess i forgot to mention i was willing to pay but the hinge is just really floppy and makes an unpleasant snapping noise that catches everyone who hears it off guard. It also can flop back to almost 2-in-1 positions. I have to have it propped up when im using it
  20. may i point you to a channel called LowSpecGamer? he has some good tutorials on how to run just about any game on just about any hardware. Also, notes from me personally: Minecraft runs good on anything, just make sure to install optifine Kerbal space program on lowest settings will give you fun for your battery's lifetime(i ran it on intel HD620 at 30fps on okish settings) ive heard fallout new vegas runs great on potatoes, sometimes even carrots! anyway good luck with intel hd. Just make sure you have a flash drive on hand Chao
  21. I live in the us, and i do believe that it is out of warranty because I dropped it rather than it becoming flimsy by itself. How does Gigabyte repair work? how to I get my laptop serviced?
