  1. ah i see now, well enjoy that soundcard and have fun with your monitor, but i was mostly speaking of the cabling INSIDE the rig but the cables outside areeee off
  2. hmmmmmm As a non-mac user i cant really give much experience to back up my opinon but i would say with the current applications you're doing now and the specs of it https://support.apple.com/kb/sp715?locale=en_US then you should be good my dude
  3. 1. Why do you need a 3rd party Soundcard, integrated sound is really good these days, especially since you bought an X99 board 2. I would say 8 out of 10 because your cable management can be somewhat better and also cause you got a much better set up than me....lol
  4. Nah your PSU shouldnt be the issue, you dont need all 500 watts, however static can be an issue. I would personally try getting into the BIOS first and checking around to see if everything is detected and fine, but if that doesnt work then you might have to take out the BIOS battery and/or reset your BIOS. that COULD solve your issue, but no garuntees
  5. I mean how good is your cooling and ventelation? But a GTX 1080 at $550 is a STEAL RIGHT NOW! So yeah i would say that yes it is a good card, I assume your refering to the ASUS Strix edition which is also a good card but is most likely out of stock or overpriced AF right about now. No you should be good.
  6. Hmmmmmmmmm this post was literally two weeks ago and NOW LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!!!
  7. OK so my friend is building her PC for the 1st time and is almost done choosing parts. However, she is really confused about Intel vs AMD for cores. But also she wants to know what benefits hyper threading brings vs just having more cores in general.
  8. Well if you remember the Radeon Group is a seperate company from AMD....however AMD has a lot of influence over there so now im wondering why they are allowing Intel to use their graphics....
  9. Hey gang, I bought a 2TB HDD about 8 months ago and ever since I re-installed Windows 10 onto my SSD the 2TB Hard Drive has shown up in my Safely Remove hardware. I haven't ejected it for fear of corruption of data but I would like to know is there a way I can get it to NOT show up here as it is an INTERNAL HDD connected by SATA and not an EXTERNAL HDD.
  10. just looked on Ebay and theres a crap ton of RX 480s but small amounts of bids, at least from what i can tell. When did you last check? I am not trying to sound mean here, I really want to know...
