This question is more suited over at XDA, I am not sure but you could try magisk?
There is probably something that verizon done with rom that making it failing safetynet.

Jackestrel reacted to t4ils in Recover files without working LCD or digitizer.
As long as the buttons still work, you can install TWRP (https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxycoreprimequalcomm.html) through Odin. Once you have TWRP installed, you can connect your phone to your PC and access all the files. I did this with my S5 and it worked fine for me.

If its for messing around with firmware, I don't think theres anything important?

Probably easily to move the display ya.

I'm pretty sure you are fucked. I would recommend sending it to a data recovery center if you aren't keeping the phone. Unless you want to replace the lcd.

Buy another one and transplant the flash? Actually no idea if that would work.

Jackestrel reacted to kirashi in Firmware for G360V Samsung phone
Not trying to direct traffic away from LTT, but if I'm being honestly helpful here, the best place for mobile phone support is over on XDA-Developers website. They offer guides on everything from rooting to custom firmware / ROMs to general phone tips and tricks, and are actually way more helpful than any phone manufacturer has ever been to me. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-core-prime/how-to/sm-g360v-info-root-firmware-xposed-t3543836

Yeah, I tried XDA but I made a post about 3 days ago and have not gotten any replies which is why I turned to LTT.
Thanks for the help though

Jackestrel reacted to Electronics Wizardy in Vm recognizes wifi card as ethernet
what os>
are you in kali?
with kali and wifi hacking, you have to give it the wifi card with usb or pcie passthrough and can't give it the nic via network.

Easy fix that's worth a try. Go to advanced settings for the VM and make sure that the "Cable Connected" box is ticked.

Jackestrel reacted to LtStaffel in Distributing a payload (trojan)
If he's actually someone expecting a trojan and your friend, then USB stick. There are plenty of ways other than that, but to be honest I am inclined to not believe the ethics behind this question. If you are actually being ethical, then you'd find it easy learn the things you need and would already be able to transmit a payload without any trouble whatsoever. Asking on a general tech forum raises my (and other's) suspicions. No offense intended, just this thread seems like it's being asked in the wrong place at the wrong time to be legitimate.
If you actually want to transmit the trojan and really learn what hacking is, then some basic Googling + computer knowledge + programming + networking will get you everywhere you need to be.

Jackestrel reacted to LtStaffel in Distributing a payload (trojan)
I'm not sure what you mean
You should learn what you need from researching it, forums will not be a good place to learn this type of thing

Jackestrel reacted to LyyK in Distributing a payload (trojan)
Also, if you're actually in it for the learning, have a look at Veil-Framework. Specifically, Veil-Evasion.

Jackestrel reacted to desertcomputer in Distributing a payload (trojan)
Crypter it and won't be detected until the person runs it but if the person have anti virus for firewall your trojan won't do much damage unless you have coded to disable anti virus software. You should go to another forum and ask about this type of questions ...

Jackestrel reacted to Ralms in Port Forwarding
Most times Port Checkers fail to see the true status of a port.
If you are trying to use 443 I assume that is for HTTPS. Why not try something simpler first like HTTP with port 80?
On top of that some routers might not go very well with those ports because you might endup on the Administrator page for the router instead of your destination.
Try as well running a Webserver (like IIS on windows) on a diferent port, like 8080 and see if that works. When you manage to have 1 port working, you just need to repete that for other ports.
Hope it helps.
Edit: Just in case you dont know, you can force ports on your browser by doing this http://IPorDomain:port or https://IPorDomain:port
but I would get http working first and worry with certificates and https second.

Jackestrel got a reaction from wilamu in DHCP kills my Wifi
WTF i dont know what I did but I fixed it somehow I have internet and a Static Ip Thanks @wilamu

Jackestrel reacted to wilamu in DHCP kills my Wifi
It's possible 192.168.1.5 is already assigned. Try something higher in the range like .150
-
Jackestrel reacted to wilamu in DHCP kills my Wifi
Not so much subnet as it's a 192.168 address. On a standard set up that'll always be 255.255.255.0
-
Jackestrel reacted to wilamu in DHCP kills my Wifi
haha ah ok, was you running ipconfig with a static IP set ??
-
Jackestrel reacted to wilamu in DHCP kills my Wifi
@Jackestrel - is your network card currently set like this? So it's receiving it's IP 'dynamically'.

Jackestrel reacted to Mira Yurizaki in DHCP kills my Wifi
If this is in Windows (or maybe any OS), you still need to specify a DHCP server.
