MINIMUM 2.8k man and then its an incredible loss! Go with 3.1k so when people want bargain alittle you should try for 3k. For quicksell and they go to you and takes it then i guess 2.8k is possible. Id never go lower than 3k for this beast.

So like 3k? its a beastly rig, and because its 7700k you couldnt have had it for more than a year. Dust it off and sell it all for 3k

in your cpu's spec you can find it as well as it is listed in motherboard's spec too. this year 8th gen coffeelake core i5/i7 support 2666mhz in default. check your board's spec in its manufacturing site if it allows overclocking. there are performance boost gain specially in gaming with faster ram. you can enable any XMP profile from bios for overclocking ram & run memtest to check it's stability. if you wanna overclock manually, google or just make a post about it in forum, the help will be there, sorry i need to run now. hope i was clear giving you info.

    Avve1000 reacted to Jurrunio in Ryzen 5 1400 + gtx 1050 ti/gtx 1060 3gb
1500x isnt worth considering if you will be overclocking the 1400 on a B350 mobo. 1060 3gb might run into issues when games have to use more than that, so in 3 years you might have to give up some texture and anti aliasing quality. It is much stronger than a 1050ti though so VRAM doesnt affect the decision in this case.

Just in case someone start arguing about 3GB is not enough VRAM and 4GB on the 1050ti is better, I have to talk abount VRAM usage. VRAM usage tests are often found out using cards with a huge buffer like the 1070 with 8GB VRAM. However, modern game engines arent dumb. When you have excess VRAM, it loads everything into the buffer even if it's not needed right away to speed up load times between scenes. Otherwise, it only loads crucial data into the VRAM. This means that while having less than used VRAM than tests show do reduce performance, it's more in the form of loading times, not stuttering. Of course, if the game is poorly optimized or VRAM on card is too small for even the critical things to load then stutter will happen.

yes, it should be alright, just make sure to buy (as you said) the EXACT same.

AMD have a weird naming scheme, where the PRO means it's less powerful than the fully unlocked chip. For example, Hawaii XT was the R9 290X, whereas Hawaii Pro was the R9 290.
