spadz93 got a reaction from wall03 in Building a multi-gigabit network
I'm interested in building a home network with capacity to run some devices at 2.5Gbps (NAS, gaming rigs, etc). I'm still looking around and scratching my head at the equipment I would need to make this work. I can find several multi-gigabit/10-gig switches (or even gigabit switches with some multi-gig ports), but very few routers that have multi-gig ports on them. Operating under the assumption that I need a router between my modem and my switch, wouldn't I be limited to gigabit speeds inside my LAN, despite having a multi-gig switch?
Also, I'm not interested in routers that also have wifi capabilities. Would be plenty happy with a wired router as I plan to run access points

Usually 3.6 to 4 volts are not that powerful.

Never got it. But in the time it's taken me to remember about this, fractal released their cable

@Homeless Pineapple I'll throw the drive into my main rig and run a few tests to see if it really is hitting the fan

Yep, I'm sold. That was the only thing deterring me from this case, but now it answers all my needs. Thanks a bunch!

Yeah I have a dab of liquid ultra and a good bit of conductonaut leftover from a previous delid/experiment

Got it. Under monitor in the asus bios, gotta disable q-fan for each header. Speedfan is now working flawlessly

Gonna evaporate and pump speed will also effect the level. I have one loop with a breather that looses a lot of fluid.

True, and even at that, it's bordering on "margin of error" territory

Personally I use Arctic MX-4, but I'm sure this thread is going to end up flooded with different results. I'm not sure i'd say there's a "best"

@Princess Cadence @tom_w141 @PCGuy_5960 and maybe OP idk
Actually though, if you guys want to keep arguing about 7700k vs r7 we should take it to a P.M. instead of derailing an unrelated topic.

spadz93 got a reaction from daweakling in GTX 980 TI SLI vs GTX 1080 TI
I'm in a very similar boat, two 1070s and opting for a single 1080ti. If sli optimization were anything near what it should be, id say two 980 tis because two cards looks so nice in a case

Hey all, figured I would make my way in here, currently own a 2010 camaro SS with bolt-ons and wrapped in satin black. Just got a supercharger in the mail a week or two ago, just gathering parts for the build. Picture here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BSL4Hl3gihR/

Well, personally, it's a lottery I'm not sure I'd like to play, I feel like i'd rather get a 1080ti single card and have a much stronger chance of stability and performance

No love for the FTW cards Maybe i'll just suck it up if the difference is negligible

ALWAYS buy the single more powerful card over SLI'ing 2 weaker cards, in the handful of games where SLI scales well the 980ti's might win, but the rest of the time the 980ti SLI setup will be SPANKED HARD by the 1080ti because it will run like a single 980ti, plus a single 1080ti requires less electricity.

spadz93 got a reaction from Damascus in First custom water loop!
Finally took the plunge and put together my first custom loop! Here's the only picture I have so far, all EK parts except the coolant and the fitting couplers that convert from hard tubing to soft in the back of the case for the radiator(s). Gpu loop will be next! Coolant is mayhem pastel white, and lighting is corsairs lighting node pro
