  1. Has anyone had any problems with surface laptop 1s where, after 2 years, the corners of the screen starts turning brownish yellow? I only really notice it when the corners are white and it's not a disaster but I would like to know if anyone has any fixes? Warranty expired after one year so that's not an option and I wouldn't go through that process for something so small. The bottom left corner windows symbol is a brownish yellow that is somewhat clear, the bottom right comment symbol is sameish, and the top right does the same thing when it's white. The top left is fine

  3. I'm trying to shrink my SSD on computer management but it won't shrink further than 5GB. I have 197 GB free storage and I am trying to make a partition of my SSD so that I can make it a cache for my HDD with primocache. Also, what amount of storage should I allocate to cache for my 2 TB hard drive. I'm pretty sure I'll do 64 GB but I am not sure. Can someone please tell me how I can shrink my drive further and any recommendations anyone might have. Thanks
  4. My be quiet 120mm fan makes a high pitch squeal when under load. Normal or is something wrong?
  5. MSI gaming X is same as mine. I extremely reccomend it. It's quiet and it looks awesome in a case with a window
  6. If you're on a fair budget I would recommend a 1060 6GB. I've tested it and all the games I've played so far (excluding Ghost recon) it will do over 60 fps and beyond. I even tried it on 4k on infinite warfare (everything on ultra) and it consistently did 45 fps on campaign. You can get a 1070 but in my opinion it is unnecessary overkill. Don't get above a 1070.
  7. I was using my computer one day and connected my USB to the 2.0 I have on my case. Immediately came up with some overload message and my USB was dead. Could not fix USB not even a local computer store. I disconected the 2.0 off the motherboard, this did not happen to other USB ports. Another day connected my HDD to back 3.0 and it died even tho I had used it before. Fixed hdd but for some reason when I recovered it all of the info was corrupted. I am taking it in tomorrow for warranty but I am scared they'll blame me because this is my first PC build which has been working for 6 months and have built more for friends after. Another day I was using photoshop and my computer stopped dead, RGB lighting and everything died. It booted up a second later and came up saying power supply unit overload asus saftety power surge stopped it after that it booted normally but a minute later did same thing. the only thing I had changed that day was a new fan and a two three pin converter (make one three pin connected into two phentek or something) and i was using my computer that day for about an hour. I'm getting checked tomorrow but can someone assure me it couldn't be my fault please? motherboard: asus b150m-k CPU: intel 6600 3.3 ghz 1151 GPU: MSI 1060 6GB power supply: areocool 600W intergrater bronze 60+ ram: Kingston ddr4 16GB 2133 not dual noctua CPU cooler and some areocool case
