  1. So i rebooted my pc and now it’s stuck on the motherboard screen. I can’t even enter the Bios. The boot device led on my Asus z170 pro gaming motherboard is on. All drives and Gpu are removed, checked all the cables and changed cmos battery. Reseated the Ram in different slots one at a time and still nothing. I’m not sure what to do next...get a new motherboard?
  2. I'm thinking of getting myself a Samsung MZ-V7S1T0BW 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD. Now I know my Asrock Z170 Pro Gamer motherboard has a M.2 port but is it compatible with that drive? thx Goren
  3. So...no matter what game I play, when I use my controller the game starts to behave strangely. In Hellblade the sound becomes stuck for fraction of a second to 2 second, when using the stick while in a cutscene it becomes really choppy and while running it sometimes looks like it skips a few frames. Crash bandicoot insane trilogy again choppy. In vampyr looking around becomes very time consuming because it gets stuck every view frames then jumps over them to the next stuck frame. moving around is smooth until suddenly the game get's stuck for a second. But it doesn't start out that way. the effect is cumulative and becomes worse the longer I play but as soon as I switch to keyboard & mouse it goes away instantly. Anybody got any ideas? Oh and it doesn't matter whether I use the wireless adapter or the cable. I think it might actually be slightly worse with the cable....
  4. Oh, really? You think so? I hadn't thought about that possibility.... No shit though, I was hoping for solutions to get it to run again... I always get a CRC-Error when trying to initalise, tried it at another PC too same result...
  5. So my HDD went K.O. and I determind that the controller was a goner. So I got myself a HDD from the same type. Same controller and produced 3 months apart (Dec 2007 new one, March 2008 old one). It shows up in my Diskmanager but I can't initalise it. There are a few things on there I'd love to get back (namely my savegames) and I'd be really gratefull for any advice.... mfg Goren
  6. I was watching this video and it got me thinking. I use a 26" 16:10 monitor and would really hate to give that up and I need to upgrade soon... Are there any good 4k 16:10 120Hz monitors roughly the same size out there that won't cost me an arm and a leg? A quick google search didn't really reveal much...
