  1. Personally I went with the red pro because you get 5 year warranty. Its a good drive I just installed it in my sistem and it is very quiet A small tip if buy it from newegg and you pay with PayPal you might qualify for PayPal credit and PayPal will give you 50 dollars for filling out the application. I bought a 14 gig drive for 195 dollars. ( wont ever use it again but its 50 dollars) What is your budget? I would go with the WD red pro do to its price Bellow I will post some quotes from other members and there opinions they gave me. Hope it helps

  12. Hello all I have been wanting to do this for very long time, and have found people that told showed the power of VM machines as well as told me about the flexibility of having one. So I would like to create / set up a virtual machine where I can run my programs. So my vm would be my work station and my installation of windows would be my personal machine where I can game and brows the net.. You're probably asking why not just install it on the man machine? I have ran in to problems with that... One of them, sometimes when you uninstall a Adobe program and want to install it again it let you but the program wont open or it wont let you install it again.... YaY cant wait to reformat my drive and start all over ... Anyway... Can someone help me or guide me in the right path to create a virtual machine that can do that? I am using VMware and I noticed that I am limited and I know there's a way to let the VM use your GPU and memory but I have no idea how to go about it yet.. Yes I am trying to run Windows vm inside of windows and yes I know could do that in linux but I think that thats another level of know how .. I have 2 graphics cards so perhaps I can use 1 for my VM? Can anyone help? Thanks

  18. but you have a server, correct? thats how you schedule your backup correct? ( I honestly dont know how thats done ) I dont have a server, NAZ or what ever I do it all manually lol Id love to know how not to do it manually but i dont have that kind of knowledge at the moment. In the near future I would like to build a NAZ At the moment I need to manually sort through all my files and organize them properly. Problem is that i have 6 tb of data and no hard drive I can dump it on to start my organization process. So step 1 organize Step 2 copy / backup
  19. so I dont have to wait 3 months for all my files to transfer. if its inside my machine its not a backup? wait what?
  20. cash speed? RPM? Why would you recommend against the Barracuda Pro. ?
  21. Hi all I am in need of a 6 - 8TB hard drive because I need to back data. I tried buying one but just happens that the one bought is slow. https://www.newegg.com/blue-wd60ezrz-6tb/p/N82E16822235009?Item=N82E16822235009 I know absolutely nothing about hard drives. But I do know how to plug them in So I was wondering if you guys could recommend me a good reliable product. I will try to give some details on how the HD will be used: The hard drive will be placed in my computer that is usually turned on 24/7 as i use my So yes the HD will be plunged in to a machine that is on at least 1 week without being restarted I am a designer so I store Video and photoshop files Would love a NAZ but $$$$ and thats a topic for another day O and my budget? Within 200 dollars but lower than 200 unless its supper cool and a must have we can rethink the price limit I found those bu again "I know absolutely nothing about hard drives." https://www.newegg.com/seagate-ironwolf-st8000vn004-8tb/p/N82E16822184796 https://www.newegg.com/seagate-barracuda-pro-st8000dm0004-8tb/p/2ZN-00J2-000W8?Item=9SIA4MRJP60949 https://www.newegg.com/seagate-ironwolf-st8000vn0022-8tb/p/N82E16822179003?Item=9SIAKEYJA29016 Does the color of the HD matter? 22. I agree.. i want what I want and I want it ... Fuck dongles I want to plug in my headphones the old way...... also have you ever left your house and WOOPS I forgot my Dongle Id hate to be that person .. thats annoying Yea in that case why dont they include some usb C headphones in the fucking package with the fucking phone...???? Shit you cant even get a fucking charger with a phone now a days. Yes most might already have one but what if they dont? " this isn't an iPod, they aren't marketed as exclusively music playing devices, this isn't a "core feature" Heres a fun one its not really marketed as a phone ether but rather a do it all device
