  1. So Linus had a video awhile ago where a boutique builder used a transparent screen as both a window into the case, and a way to add flair to the case. I dont know how to get my hands on these screens, but I was wondering if there would be away to build a computer so that no monitor is required. Im not talking a huge build because im sure the transparent screen is not putting out 4k. Im just wondering if there is a Mini ATX case that has a decent 16:9 ratio sized piece of tempered glass that could easily be swapped out with a transparent screen. I just imagine it would be fun to create a small 1080p gaming pc where all you have to do is plug in one wall outlet. The pc case its self would act as the monitor. Being in the army this would be nice for traveling or for use when space isnt very available. Im also just wondering if this is even worth considering. Would the screen be decent enough to attempt lower resolution gaming, or just give up.
  2. All your Ideas have been helpful, so thank you. I am also surprised Paul made a video on this. Great timing.
  3. Hello, I plan on traveling home for a month, and I really want to bring me PC that I built with me. (Thank you Linus by the way, your channel helped me build my first computer in February) My PC has a Kraken 62 on it and I was wondering if I needed to worry about pressure at altitude. I was also wondering if you think the stock box and foam for the case would be enough padding. I have a S340 Elite, or would putting those air bags inside the case also be a good idea. I will be looking forward to a response and your welcome for the video idea.
  4. Hey guys so I have never built a PC before an I am now looking to join the master race. I was looking to build a PC in the $2,000 range. I have been watching alot of YouTube videos and I think I have come up with a good idea of how I want to do mine. Im mostly here looking to see if anyone experienced has better ideas. I want to make a PC that is great for 4K gaming, VR, streaming, and video editing. I also have been trying to make it a black and white theme so I can add RGB in the future. I also want to try a custom water cooling loop in the future but I guess thats not relevant now. The following parts are just a list of the parts I am considering. -Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor -Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory -Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive -Asus GeForce GTX 1080 8GB STRIX Video Card -Corsair RMx 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply -Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit -NZXT Aer RGB120 61.4 CFM 120mm Fan -NZXT S340 Elite (White) ATX Mid Tower Case -NZXT Aer RGB140 71.6 CFM 140mm Fan -NZXT Kraken X62 Liquid CPU Cooler -MSI Z270 KRAIT GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard If you think this is a good setup let me know. Like I said I also only have about a month of research into PCs so if you see something wrong with my build any help would be great. parts.tiff
