  1. I just showed the cheapest option and it has very good reviews.
  2. Your MSI gaming x Rx 480 is a modified card and will overclock high.
  3. This is a cheap and best one https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zNK7YJ/evga-power-supply-100b10500kr
  4. It say recommend 480w because 20% of you electricity transforms to heat. The efficiency on your PSU is 80-85%. If you subtract 20% from 450w you get 360w. So get a 500w or 550w to be on safe side.
  5. if you rx480 is modified card like Asus rog strix Rx 480. It can overclock further and it draws more power. So get a good PSU lime 500w Bronze certified. Remember PSU is the main component in your pc so don't compromise. If you cpu is 95 watt, it will draw 120-130w if you overclock. Same goes for you GPU.
  6. To be on safer side get an evga 500w. It's just $30
  7. That's because it has am3 mount support for coolers. I think the retention mount is a bit sketchy. In my country gigabyte aorus x370 gaming k5 and Crosshair 6 hero cost the same. There are no asrock boards available in my country. Crosshair 6 hero has the best bios currently.
  8. I'm doing 3d rendering and programming also, the ryzen is definitely the better option.
  9. Bah, I can't spend more on case. Otherwise I'll have to downgrade to 1080 from 1080 ti which o don't want
  10. I need an new pc, my current laptop is in last stage of cancer. I'm building a new one in a month. CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 RAM: Gskill tridentz 2x16 GB Motherboard: Asus ROG Crosshair vi hero SSD: Samsung 960 evo 256 GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3 TB GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 ti FTW3 PSU: EVGA 850w G3 80+ Gold Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400STG Monitor: Asus PB278Q (2560x1440) Keyboard: Corsair Strafe RGB Mouse: Corsair Sabre RGB Should I make any changes. I doubt on ram. Will it run on its rated 3200 MHz speed on 2x16 GB kit. Which I'm planning to upgrade to 64 GB. 850w PSU because planning to get another 1080 ti.
  11. I want to run 64 GB ram on my ryzen build which is running 1700 and Crosshair six hero. I'm getting the tridentz modules. I'm currently trying 2x16 GB kit and later getting more. Will 16 GB modules run on ryzen
  12. Hmm.. well thanks for the help mate. I swear it'd be so helpful to have an app for this website..
  13. I've seen people their PC shutting down automatically with 850 watts PSU with 1090 to sli. I'll buy 1000 watts PSU to be on safe side. The one I'm looking to get is evga 1000w g3. And thanks for the reply.
  14. Is trident z single rank?? Or will a BIOS update might fix things with running oc on all dimms
