Any censorship of anything is bad. I know almost everyone will disagree with me as most people are hateful or prejudice against something- but I hope one day humans can be understanding and caring of all others.

I never really spent much on my PC's. The two laptops I have I got for $70 (then $60 for an SSD, and $35 for a powercord and ram upgrade) and $150 (then a $65 battery and $9 adapter), and my mom bought everything for my desktop build except my case which I spent $160 on. So $549 in total spent on PC's. Right now I want a SSD for my Thinkpad x220, but instead of spending money on a mSata drive to put my OS on I've been buying clothes and food instead. I don't really game or use my computer for more than web browsing and photo/video editing, so I haven't had a need to upgrade anything or spend more money on it.

I've only played the first one, and it was a pretty fun game. If you liked the second one maybe you should pick up the first one.

Many games are better with a controller. In example, Dark Souls. Some games, like Counter-Strike, you have to be crazy to use a controller. It's ultimately his decision though so you shouldn't nag him about it.

I agree with the other posts, just buy used if all you're doing is basic tasks.

I would just reinstall the OS, that way you know the OS hasn't been tampered with.

The most common biggest threat we get here are blizzards. It's best to just stay inside when that happens, and people totally understand if you don't show up for work and stuff. The only way you can really prepare is to make sure you keep up with weather alerts and plan accordingly.

I have such a wide liking in music that I don't see any combination as weird or unusual.

PC gaming is still trash and an unfriendly environment. Consoles will continue to do good.

I'm fine if a component has RGB, I'll just set it to red.
