    Finally the fans arrived.

And here all installed. I still managed to install two of them in push-pull but I had to change the pump position, therefore all the tubing must be redone.

After a lot of work all the tubes are ready and in place. I'm not completely satisfied with the shape but for the moment it will do, because i started to grow tired of having the pc disassembled and failing the bends. When I'll add the gpu i'm gonna fix also the tubes. I also have to add the temperature sensor because it arrived too late.
    Time to leak testing.

And finally power back on the pc.
There's still some paper just to be sure it's not leaking.

I'm waiting for other deliveries shortly, so stay tuned.

in single threaded applications sure. If you can use all the cores they do quite well. The G4560 is 34% better in single threaded but 71% slower in multi threaded. The 6700 k is 69% faster in single and 43% fast in multi.

Seeing as gaming is the main case, if the game is mostly GPU bound I have doubts about an 8350 keeping up with an i7.

As far as I know Premiere Pro still has a 30 day free trial. so depending on the work you have to do, that can be an option.

Another program you can look in to is Sony Vegas (also has a 30 day free trial, but less expensive after that) It's what I started in before moving to Premiere Pro, and later Avid media composer, but it's better to avoid that last one

But at the end of it most editing programs work in a similar matter, once you learn one others get more easy to work with. Give Vegas a try and just start working. Learning by doing is still the best way if you ask me.
If you're stuck at some point, just google, or ask around. every editor has been in that situation and (hopefully) will be glad to share what they have learned from that.

The FPS problem sounds like the issue with G-Sync when trying to run game in Windowed/Borderless mode on Windows 10.
Fix for that is to disable Fast Startup.

Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Power Settings -> (on the left side) Choose what the buttons do -> Change unavailable settings -> Uncheck "Enable fast startup".

    Restart PC.

LOL, to have you tell me I'm wrong and that you did tell us in your first post and then quote yourself with it showing no mention of the offset. So you didn't mention it at all, if you had I would ahve confirmed that yes it was just the offset you are reading from the MSI app.Yes, the 2 different temps are as I stated to do with the 20C offset, the MSI app is reporting with the 20C offset applied, the ryzen master app is telling you the actual temp.
No it is not throttling at all, the CPU I believe has to be hitting around 95 to throttle at all. I think your problem is just with the GPU, but I don't know what the problem is there.

HUSKER222 reacted to paddy-stone in AMD Ryzen 1800X
No, you mentioned the 2 temps and gave photos/screens, but you never mentioned "offset", which is why I pointed it out to you. Good luck with it.

HUSKER222 reacted to paddy-stone in AMD Ryzen 1800X
Well, sorry but you didn't mention that, so only went on the info you gave us, you didn't explain well enough. And as for when it's in BIOS, that's pretty much how it is in BIOS with temp being higher than when in windows/linux is just how it has been for a very long time.
I don't know what the issue could be with the GPU. There have been several people reporting this type of thing lately, but could be for different reasons/causes.

Jesus, this has been reported all over the place... the X modelsd have a 20C degree offset, they are the same temp.

Sooooo. can you explain to me what i meant by "I have attached a photo and if you notice ryzen master and command center (which also has same temp as bios is reading) states two completely different temps. I wonder is the bios thermal throttling the pc because it thinks it is getting too hot? at this point i cant think of anything else."

you did see that part right? now do me a favor @paddy-stone scroll up to the original post.. now match the two words and sentences and tell me what you think i meant by that? Two different temps the bios reads one and ryzen master reads another so states two completely different temps would be... WAIT FOR IT..... WAIT FOR IT.... OFFF SEEEETTTTT DING DING DING.... LINUS TECH GET THIS GUY A JOB!

I mean come on dude. if you have an idea on what the problem is voice it. dont a be a D and start telling me i wasnt telling all the information. id much rather work on fixing the problem rather than listen to you try and pull apart what i wrote because you cant read.

Is anyone else baffled as to why the old i7 3770K isn't being used as a dedicated PLEX server and the Ryzen machine as a dedicated gaming machine, or is it just me?

that doesn't make sense....you cannot simply *wait* for transcoding to finish. Transcoding IS on the fly re-encoding to a playable format.
Disabling it defeats half of the reason for using Plex in the first place.

Here's a good list to start with.
For your budget and what you want, you can afford a good monitor on top. I included a 1080p 144Hz display, you can also get a 1440 or 4K display (yes a 1070 can do 4K, not on highest settings though).
