  1. Well don't I feel like a tit. Thanks for the help, I'll have a google for GoPro contact information.
  2. Just as I thought. Thanks guys, saved me a lot of time!
  3. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if it's possible to put Yosemite in an A1103 Mac Mini if I were to install a new HDD and more RAM? Don't want to go to all the bother just to find out it won't take.
  4. Thanks folks, that's a massive help! I do realise I'm being a bit too optimistic thinking they would just hand over a GoPro but you don't get if you don't ask. This is going to be quite a big event and we will be the first folk to ever live on top of Ben Nevis for a whole week. Worth a shot. As it's for charity the less outgoings the better. Thanks again!
  5. Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm looking for an email address for Sony UK. The reason being is I'm looking at possibly getting a sponsor/free equipment for a charity hike. Me and some friends are going to climb and stay on the peak of Ben nevis in Scotland for a whole week. I'm looking at trying to aquire a GoPro in order to record a daily diary and was wondering if Sony would like to help out. I just can't seem to find any good contact details.
  6. Well that's well over two hours of gaming done and not a hitch so it certainly seems so.
  7. All seems well after the new PSU being installed, only time will tell I suppose. If the problem turns up again I'll be sure to try the solutions above. Thanks.
  8. I never even thought of the PSU overheating. Would that cause the USB ports to switch off during full load? I'm quite literally in the middle of installing the RM650 so I'll let you guys know how I get on.
  9. It's a Z77X-UD3H I have. I've just got a new PSU so will install it later tonight and see if the problem persists. All my drivers are fully updated but I'll see if there is an old revision to move to if the problem is still there. POL is definitely turned off and always has been.
  10. I don't unfortunately, I've been looking about and I think I'm going to get an RM650. I would just hate to spend £80 and find out I'm having the same problem. I have one PSU in the house that's spare but it's a 250w which I wouldn't even risk putting in my machine haha.
  11. I have a 600w Corsair PSU in my current system which is around 4 years old now. I run a 3570k and a GTX770 so 600w is more than enough but for this past week my computer has been turning itself on. Also at full load whilst gaming all my USB peripherals seem to stop working and won't work again until after a reboot. I think this may be a PSU problem but before I splash the cash on a new one is it a possibility it could be something else? I've heard of mice acting up and shorting USB ports before, although I'd imagine it would do it randomly other than at full load if it was the mouse.
  12. I read online it could be an antivirus so I completely removed all antivirus and tried that. Tried showing all hidden devices under network adapters and removing them, that didn't work. Tried everything is safe mode, that didn't work. Tried resetting all network logs and settings through cmd and that didn't work. I'm now running a system files check. Nothing seems to work though, I always get the same error.
  13. I've done all that, tried many different drivers, it's on Windows 7 x86. The correct driver is being installed it just won't work.
  14. I'm ready to go postal with this PC. A friend asked if I could install his wifi adapter for him as he was having trouble. It's a generic Dell Desktop with an AMD CPU an 4GB RAM. The specs aren't terribly important, when installing ANY wireless dongle the driver install fails and tells me "The parameter is incorrect". Tried three different dongles. I'm at my wits end I've tried everything I can think of, has anyone came across this problem before?
