  1. It's all good, it was worth the shot! Thanks for trying!
  2. So I downloaded inspectre and I disabled Meltdown protection but it still performed the same. Also, it said that some of my hardware isn't updated for Spectre protection? I'll link the image. My performance is good and so is my protection against meltdown.
  3. Yeah I’ll make sure to try, I’ll update this topic if I come across anything.
  4. Oh dang, I thought those patches were optional or haven’t even came out yet... Are these patches in the form of a windows update or?
  5. No, I only have discord really running in the background, but even then before it was working just fine with it in the back?
  6. I'm sure I restarted the PC yesterday when I had to downloaded an update for a tablet I just got not too long ago. Yeah I have the latest drivers for Nvidia.
  7. Computer Specs:Gtx 1060 6gb OCV1I7-6700K 4.0ghzHyperX Fury Kingston 16gb DDR4ASUS H170 PRO MOBOEVGA SUPERNOVA 650W 80+ GOLDLately, I've been realizing that my PC underperforms than what it used to. OW I was able to easily run it at Ultra (Second Highest Preset) with 120-150 fps but now it's dropped to the range of 80fps-120. Rainbow Six Siege runs at 70 fps on ultra when it used to run 100+. Witcher 3 I was able to run it at 60 fps ultra (without hairworks) but now it's running at 60 fps on high? Pretty much it's running all the games like I have it on ultra preset when it shouldn't? I've tried using DDU. Monitored the GPU and CPU to be at their normal temps. Even cleaned out the PC just to be extra sure? Anybody know what it could be? Or maybe I'm just over my head about it?
  8. Holy crap, I already love these forums by how informative and fast the responses are for my issues and questions. But, I'll probably stick with 1080p or 1440p monitors at 100+ Hz. But, I am pretty competitive especially with Overwatch and CSGO, definitely TN panel. And I'll most likely go for a 24" or 27" but probably just 24" since I don't even have that much desk space tbh.
  9. Yeah, that sounds perfect for what I'm willing to buy. Maybe, when I get my next paycheck or so. Just one last question and I'll get out of your hair, but what exactly is g-sync or free sync?
  10. Ah, I knew it was the TV and not anything else. Alright, I'll probably start shopping for a new monitor in the market. Got any suggestions for a monitor? Specifically one that's 1080p 100+Hz and around the 100-250 price range?
  11. Yeah, honestly, it's not even a monitor but an old tv... lol
  12. I heard that origin or Nvidia can actually affect gameplay because it steals sources from the CPU
  13. nope, it didn't affect gameplay either.
  14. Nah, it shouldn't be an issue... rubberbanding isn't happening. Mainly, it's unsteady framerate that's an issue for me. I know my graphics card can handle the game at a constant 60 fps w/ explosions and destruction happening, but yet it kicks its ass by dropping down to 30 fps. Especially, the fact that I'm playing it on a 720p monitor...
  15. I have windows 10 64 bit, the thing is it's not activated apparently. There's this little text box on the bottom left that says "Activate Windows: Go to Settings to activate Windows"
