  1. They offer 3 months of warranty for the repairwork. Edit: just for comparison: a 1050 Ti costs 190 here.
  2. Hey, so today I saw a crazy deal on a local store of a 1070 for sale for 150 dollars, and then I got some information about the card. The previous owner had some problems with the card while overclocking and now it's producing artifacts on the screen. the technician said it would need to do a repair called reflow, or something close to this to the card. My question is: is it worth it to take the risk and try to buy the card, after the repair, or should I just stay away from those deals? In my country 1070's cost upwards of 500 dollars in its new condition.
  3. Awesome! That's awesome Thanks!
  4. Hopefully, I'm really rooting for team red right now. And Vega is just around the corner, also... What a great time to be alive
  5. Yeah, I have time, and probably upgrading to a gaming beast mid-semester is not the wisest thing to do
  6. Eventhough the video makes a compelling argument, but probably "future-proofing" my platform for multi-core gaming is something I should keep in mind no?
  7. We can only hope they do. Well, thanks for everything.
  8. Meh, the R7 is too expensive for what I want, I'm waiting for the R5's (hopefully higher clocked). Seems like a good ideia, or should I just stick with Intel?
  9. Thank god Ryzen just came out Thanks!
  10. So, at the moment I have an i5 4690 and a gtz 960, and I usually get about 100 fps on r6, is the 1070 able to run Rainbow Six on medium settings at 144hz at 1440p? or should I wait for Vega, or keep the 1080p resolution? I saw the ASUS MG279Q for sale and my mind started spinning
  11. Hey, I was thinking about Ryzen and all of a sudden overclocking came to my mind and with that I pose my questions: Can I overclockin without upping the voltage on the cpu? If I can, is it worth it, and does it generate more heat, compared to stock speeds?
  12. MSI GEFORCE® GTX 1060 6GT OCV1 6GB That's the 1200 dollar monitor right?
  13. I currently have a 1060, but I'm saving up to buy a whole new rig, so this is just a monitor no future proof myself and because I'm tired of this 60 euro 1080p monitor
  14. I hope so, that monitor looks sick. the only problem is that in the EU we have crazy high taxes on imported goods from outside the EU, for example you can't get a 1070 for less that 450 euros, about 480 dollars US.
