  1. Friend is asking to purchase my Razer Blade late 2016. What is fair price? Hope this is the right place to post. Specs: CPU- i7-6700HQ GPU- GTX 1060 RAM- 16gb 2133mhz Storage- 1TB SSD Screen- 1080p IPS variant
  2. Lurking super hard through the years but always thankful for the community!

  3. Finally built my first computer!! Going to make a build log and share my experiences with everyone. This community helps me feel at home with tech :x

  4. I'm glad you were able to find something that worked for you
  5. I went to PCPartpicker and applied some filters to RAM modules you might be interested in. Here is the link: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/memory/#Z=16384002&Y=6200082,8200000,8200062&sort=price&s=402133,402400,402666,402800,403000,403200
  6. That's a totally okay question. I'm definitely still learning everyday. LLC, also known as load line calibration is a setting that adjusts voltage delivery to the CPU. Hence, the load line. The line represents the fall off in voltage the CPU will experience as load increases. This is done to preserve hardware and prevent over volting components. However, when pushing overclocks- default settings might drop the voltage too much under load causing a crash.
  7. Ryzen 5 1500x is further down the stack. Asking for 3.9 ghz might be beyond the chip. Dimitri from Hardware Canucks had to settle for 3.9 ghz on a 1700x. Have you tried adjusting your LLC?
  8. Four packages delivered at the same time without planning the shipping dates. THAT is destiny xD

  9. There was a promo code in the E-mail I found after the fact. I picked up an 1800x for 300$ yesterday, and I think for the next 24 hours the 1700x is 260$?. Couldn't resist grabbing the top of the stack... not to mention i'm not a fortune teller when it comes to sales
  10. As the title indicates, Ryzen 1700x and 1800x for 280$ and 320$ respectively. Link included. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113429&cm_re=1700x-_-19-113-429-_-Product
  11. Gosh dang it... Bought mine for 90$ and a 10$ rebate. Sigh, atleast 10$ isn't such a big deal in the end
  12. I think Seasonic's Focus Plus 80 Gold is a good choice. 100$ and performance above its class.
  13. I've done a lot of thinking for my own upcoming build, and I decided that the 1700x is a nice blend of performance and value. If you want more value get the 1700, or if you want more performance get the 1800x.
  14. Aero 15 is a nice choice. I'm curious to hear what your case is for avoiding the Razer Blade! I've been using mine for a year now and I can't find much if anything to complain about.
  15. I like the change from three to two screens. I'd imagine it would be hard to focus with three panels.
