  1. I'd imagine it depends based on mods/settings as well as if it's bedrock or java
  2. It is the included fan. As far as consistency, not really. I ended up taking it off and re mounting it and it makes the noise less frequently but it was very audible, almost like a grinding sound. It seemed like no matter the fan curve it would rattle at some point or another, I ended up just ordering a Noctua fan to attach to it. It's worth mentioning, it seems that the house is almost a metallic type sound, which initially made me think it could be vibrating against the tower part of the cooler but it has rubber anti vibration pads and it also wouldn't make much sense for it to only do that at random RPM's low and high.
  3. This happened to my friends PC, it ended up being that the RAM wasn't properly seated. Try removing it and putting it back in.
  4. Sorry I have dummy brain, does this mean that if I run it at a higher speed for a while and then go back to a lower speed, it may be lubricated enough that it will not make the noise anymore?
  5. Okay good to know. Yeah, it's my CPU fan on the Vetroo V5. As soon as the build was complete I noticed it rattled and it made me crazy so I had to adjust the fan curve. Thanks for the info
  6. What the title says, one of my fans slightly rattles at lower speeds so I started running it at 60% speed minimum so it would stop. Is this alright? I also have one of my case fans running at 100% all the time. I don't mind the whoooosh noise at all. Update: the whoosh turned back into a grinding sound and I replaced the fan with a Noctua fan and it's fixed.
  7. The integrated graphics on the 12400 will be much better, and has modern DirectX support as well.
  8. I notice you don't have an exhaust fan, that might be worth looking into. You are probably keeping a lot of hot air in your case.
  9. Thank you, I used this for my new build last night and everything is running smoothly. CPU is 28⁰C at idle.
  10. I am using the LGA 1200 socket. Just 1 turn on each screw after you get it past no force?
  11. Hey, I am building a new PC on Wednesday, and I am unsure as to how tight I need to tighten a tower style cooler. I want to make sure I don't damage the pins in the socket by overtightening. How tight should I tighten to make sure I still get good cooling but I don't damage anything? I have never used a cooler besides the stock cooler before. If it matters, I am going to be using the Vetroo V5
  12. I will try different ones, though it would be odd for them both to cut out at the same time
  13. I could check the pcie cable after windows installs again. I know I should but at the time an A320 board was all I could afford, things have changed since then but I am waiting for AM5 socket
  14. I'm doing a clean install right now, my motherboard is already on the latest bios since I updated to add CPU compatibility last year
