  1. UPDATE - I have tried a different PSU, and the same thing is happening!
  2. Hi Dennis, thanks for the reply! I had't thought of the PSU being faulty as it was from my old system and worked perfectly.. I will have to get another one to test though, Regarding the CPU, as its the only USED part I got for this build that wasn't previously used in my old system, so could the CPU being faulty cause the issue I have too? Regarding the PC light, you mean the lights on the front of the case? If so, they come on for a second too then die like the fans do. From what I can see, the motherboard light stays on when power is connected but then the CPU Fan and Chassis Fan come on for a second then just die, when I first connected it all up the CPU Fan, Chassis Fan, GPU Fan all span for a second then died.
  3. I have an issue regarding a new build! This is my forth computer I've built, but the first that I've ran into this issue with! The issue is, when I click the on button on the PC, the fans spin for about half a second then switch off, that's as far as it goes.. I've tried the motherboard with just the CPU and CPU fan installed but its still the same.. I had the CPU power connected too, so that's that issue out of the way! The specs i5 4570 (USED) ASUS H8M1-A (NEW) 2x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Ram 1800MHZ (NEW) Corsair VS550 PSU (From previous system) Asus Radeon HD 6870 GPU (From previous system) I'm wondering if the CPU is bad, would that be causing my issue? I'm at a lost now of what to do, I've taken everything out and reconnected it all a few times, tried it without only the CPU and CPU fan installed but I just can't get it to get past the fans switching on then back off within a second, no display, beeps or anything. The motherboard does have the green LED lit though, if that helps! Any suggestions on what to do now? My first build that hasnt gone to plan
