  1. [...] I feel you, that kind of things shouldn't happen. Always build your own pc.
  2. Not going to the police doesn't mean it didn't happen, a lot of women are afraid they won't be taken seriously. Here in Argentina it's quite common to even hear about police mocking the woman or justifying the abuser. It's sickening.
  3. No rape reported, and you can't confirm that either.
  4. FAT 16/32 is a type of file system (HDD, SD cards, USB, etc. use them) But I suggest you Google things you don't know, you could also learn how to update your bios that way.
  5. I'd go for The Witcher 3 just because on the amount of content, but Dark Souls 3 is fun and challenging (more so than the previous two, I've found, specially the end game stuff) If you enjoy a good story, dialogs and roleplaying then I guess The Witcher is a better choice, but if you want to (mercilessly) test your ability and you're OK with frustration and getting enraged in order to feel the satisfaction of overcoming a seemingly unbeatable boss fight, then Dark Souls 3 is better.
  6. Well it appears it's as @LoGiCalDrm said. I tried with a different fresh W7 install and that didn't work, but it's working fine with the W10 one, so go figure. Thank you all for your support! You've all been real helpful!
  7. I was about to have a go with a clean W10 installation. I'll let you know if that works out. By the way, huge thanks to everyone who took the time to help me out!
  8. Safe mode won't work, it shows the files windows is loading and then restarts the same way. Startup Repair doesn't do anything either. I haven't tried with any OS other than Windows 7 from three different drives, but I'm sure they were all different installations.
  9. Both mine and my friend's hdd boot up just fine on my system, it also boots fine on a USB Win7 install drive I have. I have one HDD with Ubuntu installed, haven't tried that one yet.
  10. Specs First : So, I'm a little puzzled by this one, maybe I'm missing something. My friend's previous motherboard died and he bought a new one (the one in the specs). We start up the system and everything looks great until W7's "Starting windows..." screen (the one with the four lights), before the lights get to touch each other the system reboots itself, no BSOD. I went to the bios setup and everything looks fine, CPU temp ranges between 45 - 50°C, we went with default values and it keeps happening. Now, I tried with my own CPU (FX-8120), HDD (WD 1TB Caviar Black, also Win7) and PSU (Thermaltake Purepower 700W) and it keeps happening. I've still to try with my own GPU though (GTX 760), I'll come back with those results later. My bet is on the motherboard which is in fact brand new but I wanted to check with all of you if I'm missing something. Please let me know if more information is needed, I'll be checking back every now and then.
  11. He made both my profile pic and this. Greatly appreciated!
  12. @Joka232I PM'd but just noticed this thread is a few months old, not sure if you're still taking requests?
  13. I don't consider myself either anymore, but during my early years as a teenager (13 or so) I got affiliated to the FJC in Argentina (Federación Juvenil Comunista = Juvenile Communist Federation) which felt good for a while but I soon found out politics overall in this country are rotten, genuine good intentions are hard to find and communism/socialism just becomes a facade of solidarity to hide the real lust for power (strictly speaking about Argentina, can't share an educated opinion about foreign politics). I don't believe in most politicians anymore, and I wouldn't bet a finger on the few I believe in.
