dizmo got a reaction from jaslion in Wrong address, should I order another order?
Why not ask them?
They know far better than randoms on a forum.

dizmo got a reaction from Kenji02 in Pc Build a bit to expensive AND advice Mini-ITX
Small cases are perfectly fine if you spec the build properly. It won't get any warmer than your laptop would, and almost certainly substantially better. Especially since you're looking at larger ITX cases.

dizmo got a reaction from GOTSpectrum in 2 in 1 laptop recommendations
I don't think anyone can really tell the future so if you're going to wait, you'll probably be waiting forever as there will always be something better around the corner. Are none of the Lenovo's upgradable? Throwing in more RAM can be a cakewalk.

dizmo got a reaction from starsmine in What's going on with Secret Shopper 3?
It's not really whining when it's actually misrepresentation in the video.

dizmo got a reaction from filpo in What's going on with Secret Shopper 3?
The issue wasn't with the machine itself, it was with cost/"extra" fees.
Black Friday is still a ways off.

dizmo reacted to Brooksie359 in Omegle.com shuts down after 14 years of connecting strangers on the Internet
Honestly this was my first thought. I mean when I went on it when I was in high-school that was basically all we saw so when people say the name of the website I always wondered how people used it when it was 98% people with their junk out.

dizmo got a reaction from Zando_ in New PC Advice - AMD or Intel?
I'd probably avoid the X3D chips, as depending on what you're doing they can be a little temperamental.
I'd personally go with an Nvidia card, but if you're fine with possible driver issues then the AMD card offers stronger performance at a lower price (usually).

dizmo got a reaction from filpo in It's coming, finally. GTA 6 trailer date before GTA 6 trailer
Can't wait to lose countless hours of my life to this game. It'll probably be the next game I purchase tbh.

dizmo got a reaction from Amir F. Rad in is it worth upgrading 3090 to 4090?
Right but some people don't want to lower anything. Max everything. It gets pretty demanding in such scenarios.

dizmo got a reaction from Amir F. Rad in is it worth upgrading 3090 to 4090?
And lots where they don't. The 4090 at 1080p barely touches 240fps let alone 360 or 500 on the titles that can reach that.

dizmo got a reaction from Amir F. Rad in is it worth upgrading 3090 to 4090?
Are you running extremely high frame rates?
Ehhhh not necessarily. There are extremely high refresh monitors out here.

dizmo got a reaction from Needfuldoer in Racheting screwdriver
Just get the Wera, it's more than you'll reasonably ever need anyway. The PBSwiss is more for professional use.
Really, most better than bargain store screw drivers are going to perform well in your use case.

dizmo reacted to Arika in Racheting screwdriver
i've built my PCs with like $2 screw drivers. i think people put waaaay to much thought into....such a basic tool.
Especially for something that you realistically build once every few years.

dizmo reacted to LAwLz in Racheting screwdriver
Judging by the things you listed, it sounds to me like you don't really need anything fancy.
Just pick up some screwdriver that seems good at your local hardware store for ~10 dollars. It doesn't make sense to spend like 60 dollars on a screwdriver that you will use for building a PC and whatnot.
The benefit of having a cheap one is that you can actually use it as a tool without always feeling like you need to treat it like a baby.

dizmo got a reaction from Dedayog in Is black Friday realy all that Close?
I'd just wait for Black Friday, or Cyber Monday. Depends where you are and how you shop, really.
If you don't care exactly what you're getting down to model, then you'll get good savings. If you're set on specific items, you may or may not save anything at all.

If it makes the game look better, I'm all for it.
Shame for those that rock older hardware for sure, but I'm sick of improvements being held back by people that hold onto aging technology.
