Apple's magsafe seems pretty weak IMO. Cool concept, failed execution.

    Weak magnets. Makes a lot of the accessories pointless.

    you can put your phone in your pocket and the wallet accessory just falls off of your phone; see MKBHD's video

    That kind of makes sense though, no? Couldn't super strong magnets potentially mess with signal reception or credit cards in your pocket.

    You can shield them properly. It just really diminishes the actual use of a lot of the accessories.

    Car mount? Nope, it'll fall off.

    Wallet accessory? Nope, it'll fall off.

    Bike mount? Nope, it'll fall off.

     

    What does that really leave? The charger. Which, sure, neat, but really isn't that different than just sitting it down on the mat.
