I find it hard to recommend Intel processors now. Not until they've fixed their shit.

    I feel like every CPU release in the last 5 generations has been lackluster. First-gen to fourth-gen was a sizable jump for Intel, but everything else has sucked from AM2 and forward. If it isn't one thing, it's another with CPUs.

    I thought Ryzen was a massive leap up from AM3+'s trash. Intel just can't fix their current CPUs though. Even a patch is just that. A patch. It can be dismantled. At least with Ryzen it's more secure.

    Ryzen has its own issues that I'm not happy with, but that's my opinion.

    Haha yeah, but at least they're not leaking sensitive information. There's some things I don't find acceptable... 

     

    I hope Intel fixes this with their next CPU release so I can hop back on the wagon :P

    Hopefully. Those octa-cores are scheduled for 4Q18. I've seen benchmarks, but only from one source. Still waiting for more to come in.
