  1. Yeah it's usually not comfortable even when you use a syringe. The trick is to have your head parallel with the ground with the affected ear down and wash for like a full minute. The water doesn't push stuff farther inside becomes it comes in contact with your eardrum (provides a watertight seal from the middle ear), and eventually it will get flushed out.
  2. Actually doctors just use waterpiks generally/ a syringe filled with warm water. If you have one you can set it on a low setting (with warm water in the chamber) and wash it out. Swabs will generally push the content farther into the canal.
  3. Looking for people to play comp overwatch with on a semi-regular basis. Currently at about 1800 SR and looking to move up with people who like to communicate and shoot the shit while we play. DASHRENDAR#11740
  4. Hey whats up everyone! I'm looking to replace my aging Tritton AX Pro's with a new sound setup. I know gaming headsets aren't the best, so I was wondering what the LTT community uses in their gaming setup in respect to audio. I want something with good voice quality as well in my setup, as I am starting to stream to Twitch. Thanks guys!
  5. When you were running these stress tests were you checking what your temps were? If you are able to turn it on are you able to access event manager/bsod dumps to determine if there is an error code related to your crashes?
  6. Generally, yes. As long as you have at least a mid-tower case normal PSU's will fit your case. If you have a strange case or a premade case (like a cheap case from a premade manufacturer such as HP) you may want to check the actual dimensions on the PSU you are buying, and all manufacturers will have those specifications listed somewhere.
  7. Yeah 300W is too small for a RX 480, and won't have the 12 V six pin power connector. I doubt your card will work directly or well without the correct amount of power. Good news is that good 500W Power Supply Units will only run you about $40
  8. Yeah I use steam, and have seen the steam link as others have mentioned, but that's kind of expensive and I already have a laptop that I can use from the "steam home" or whatever it's called streaming. I also already have 4x Xbox 360 controllers so I would really prefer to use those over a steam controller if I have people over who want to game. Primarily I want to use this setup for gaming, but I have used programs like xpadder in the past so that I could stream media and use the 360 controller to manipulate my GUI
  9. Hey everybody, I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I live in a small apartment, and have a desk for my PC, but also want to be able to play games on the couch. I was wondering if it would be more advantageous to stream my main gaming PC to my laptop (Dell XPS 13 9350) or if I should invest in a longer HDMI cable (eg 25 feet-ish) which would directly connect my PC to my TV. I would also be using the xbox 360 wireless controller USB dongle to connect my controllers. I didn't know if anyone had run into a similar situation, or if anyone had advice to make couch gaming as seamless as possible. Thanks in advance!
