  1. Gday, So I just got my new PC and have been looking forward to getting some very good FPS in Counter Strike - Global Offensive but for some reason I am only getting 130-180 FPS. Which i would want at least 200 fps stable with with 144hz monitor. I have 1.5k hours on CS and my previous computer was getting comparable FPS yet it was 5 years old!!! My PC specs are: CPU: i5 7600K GPU: Galax 1070 EX OC SNPR White RAM: 2x 8GB (16GB) Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz Motherboard: Asus Z270-AR Prime CPU Cooler: Corsair H55 SSD: 960 EVO 250GB (CS is installed on this) Operating System: Windows 10 So what I have done to try fix it: CSGO Launch Options: -nod3d9ex -freq 144 -refresh 144 -novid -nojoy -high -tickrate 128 +exec mbjan17.cfg -threads 4 +cl_forcepreload 1 CSGO graphics setting: all lowest with multicore rendering enabled Nvidia settings: V-Sync off Yes my monitors are plugged into my GPU Furthermore, I have turned off onboard graphics in the bios. All drivers from what I can see are up to date. XBOX DVR is turned off. So I am wondering what I am doing wrong!! Withing Asus Intel Extreme Tuning Utility it says I am using 80% of the CPU but I find that very hard to believe with only CSGO open (and the Utility app) at 150ish FPS with the Max Core Frequency set to 3.82GHz. Secondly, I can run Overwatch on EPIC settings with 120 FPS which is a much newer title and much more strenuous on the PC. This makes me lean to believing it's the Source Engine but I am not certain. I put this post in this sub topic as CSGO is a CPU intensive game Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!!!
