  1. So Rossman Repair called me back it doesn't seem to be a bios chip issue and they cant really fix it. My best guess is a dead board.
  2. I actually just called and they said I could bring it over tomorrow. Will definitely post an update if that's the fix.
  3. Thank you so much! Now I just have to find a way to do all that, it sounds a little above my pay grade but I live pretty close to Louis Rossman's shop maybe he could help.
  4. Yesterday afternoon. There's another post on the forum about it but that thread is years old and didn't have a fix.
  5. Hey long time lurker here coming for advice. My MSI GE70 Apache Pro-061 laptop recently stopped posting at all. So far I have tried removing all storage, removing the cmos battery, reseating the ram and draining the battery. My issue is when I hit the power button a black screen with the msi logo appears but I cannot access the BIOS or boot to windows. Please help, specs below. Intel Core i5-4200H 3.2 GHz 8 GB DDR3L SDRAM 1024 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive + 256 GB MSATA SSD 17.3-Inch Screen; NVIDIA Geforce GTX860M with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM
