Currently I'm running two monitors that are 1080p 60Hz. I'm thinking about getting a new monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate to be my primary monitor for gaming, but I'm wondering if there would be any problems having monitors with different refresh rates? Will the 144Hz monitor get throttled? Or will the 60Hz monitors just do its own thing while 60+ frames get pushed out to both? etc. Thanks for any help!

Hey guys. I was hoping to get some input about a new rig I want to get. I'm a pretty big gamer, and I like to have two monitors and multitask between games, videos, and web browsing. My old rig is a few years old now and the it's not able to keep up with the newer games. The budget is $1000. Here's what I have picked out so far: CPU: Intel Core i5-7600 Mobo: MSI B250 PC MATE ATX RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2400 Storage: Samsung 750 Evo 500 GB 2.5" SSD GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Windforce PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W Case: DIYPC Zondda-B ATX Mid Tower Total Cost: ~850 Thoughts? Does everything fit together? Suggestions for more preferable/optimal parts? Thanks!!
