  1. So after much waiting, I was finally able to connect the pc with to the internet with an add-in ethernet card off Amazon. the case all stripped out. as it currently stands. decided to throw in some Phanteks cables for some contrast. The build as it currently stands... I love how easy the case makes any build look.
  2. It's a canon 7d with a Sigma 18-35. I held off on upgrading to FX because it didn't really feel like it was an upgrade. I was going to upgrade to Skylake but I wasn't impressed with it's performance either...
  3. Got the board back from Canada Computers and they said it connected fine. But when I brought the PC home I still could not connect the pc to internet over ethernet. Just gonna get an add-in ethernet card because I am sick of returning the board.
  4. I'll probably go cable mod if I do since Asus offers a coupon.
  5. I have been considering this back and forth, I wouldn't mind RGB light strips with an opaque look.
  6. That desk alone looks amazing, you don't even need a pc for it to be impressive.
  7. thank you.
  8. First startup and boot into windows with the glass sidepanel. Unfortunately after doing a bios update, a fresh install of windows and a driver install I just could not get the Ethernet port to work so I had to send it back to Canada Computers check if it is defective and in need of a replacement. Really disappointed with this because I was impressed with the way it looked on my desk only to have to take it apart again... hopefully I can at least replace this with the same motherboard since I really like the neural colours and the subtle RGB glow. I am going to have to wait until Monday for any conclusion. while I was there I picked up some fan splitters for my top fans. I'm also unsure if I want to add more rgb. I want to give it a subtle RGB look But also want a bit more pop.
  9. After 7 long I have finally decided to retire my Phenom II x4 965 BE build in favour of a Ryzen 7 1700. As part of this build I am not going to use all new parts. I am going to reuse the Asus R9 290X, the EVGA 750W Supernova power supply, the CF card reader and the old fans from my old pc. New parts: Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Tempered Glass Ryzen 7 1700 Cryorig H5 Universal RGB DDR4 3466MHZ CL16 (CMR16GX4M2C3466C16) Cryorig AM4 bracket Old parts: Asus DirectCU II AMD R9 290X EVGA Supernova 750G full modular All the new parts ready to be assembled. Prepping the motherboard for the cooler... Inserting this cooler was a breeze.... getting the cabling ready for installation... Setting up the power supply and cabling... Motherboard now in the case... the card goes in next... all the components in and all the cabling connected.
  10. There's plenty suprisingly one of my friend just got into an Esports league for Raceroom Experience, Forza also has quite a few leagues and Gran Turismo has GT Academy which is fairly popular in the UK, one person became an actual race car driver from it.
  11. Indeed they are, some even had a supercharged 4A-GE motor.
  12. Quad core i7s are no where near obsolete in gaming at the moment, what kind of games are you trying to play anyways? How far have you overclocked the 6700k?
  13. The differences between cpus is negligible, upgrade your gpu instead if you need more gaming performance.
