  1. Not sure if this is the place to post this, but oh well. I have an r9 390x (8gb MSI) that I want to sell, mainly because it's unstable and runs hot. I run it underclocked because otherwise it crashes at high load, but while underclocked it is perfectly stable. I was planning to sell it for around $80, possibly a tad lower, because even when underclocked it will vastly outperform anything available near that price range. What do you guys think?
  2. All the fans spin, and the msi logo on the graphics card lights up. The motherboards red light works as well.
  3. I'm building a new pc, with a ryzen 2600, b350 tomahawk, 8gb of 2133mhz ram, and an r9 390x. The problem I'm having is that I don't get picture on boot, nothing shows up on my monitor. The motherboard itself is an open box one from microcenter, which is 'guaranteed' to work properly. When I turn the computer on, none of the debug leds light up. I should also mention that my case is old, and for some reason my computer only boots when i press the reset button. As a side note, the motherboard didn't come with cpu cooler standoffs anyways, so I'll probably return the motherboard at some point, but I just want to at least figure this out before I do anything. Edit* the graphics cards fan spins and so does the cpu's. It seems like it's all fine, but their isn't any picture.
  4. So someone is offering me an rx 480 for my gtx 980 on craigslist, and I was wondering if you guys think that its an OK trade. I was selling it for $250 on craigslist, down from $280 because I had a hard time selling it. I know that the gtx 980 is faster than the rx 480, but my CPU was bottle-necking it anyways (fx-6300), so the only thing I care about is the cash value so that I can upgrade my CPU and graphics card equally. I guess the better question would be, do you guys think that I could reliably sell a rx 480 for over $250?
  5. I'm about to try and sell all of it, but I wanted to make sure I'm selling it for a decent price first. I've had the fx-6300 for 2 years now with no issues, comes with the cooler. The motherboard is damaged; i.e the sound doesn't work on it, and the pcie clip/latch is broken. I'm including a usb sound adapter to compensate. The ram is just some a simple 8gb of ddr3 ram at 1600 mhz. I just need an estimate on how much I should sell it for, though I'm personally thinking around $130.
  6. I Forgot about that :), But the performance of it is still worse. I'm just saying that for $10 more than the 7100, you get a higher base frequency and overclocking support.
  7. The Pentium doesn't have hyperthreading though, and the single threaded performance of the i3 7350k is better. Also until ryzen 3 comes out, the cheapest ryzen processor is the 1400 at $160, and is comparatively worse at gaming.
  8. I was looking through micro center's website and I found this; the i3 7350k for $130. While people were kinda hating on the processor originally due to the price-point, I think it's a pretty good deal now. It's also $150 on Amazon. What do you guys think? To put that in perspective, the i3 7100 is $115 on Amazon and $120 at Microcenter.
  9. As soon as I sell my old parts, I might have to hit you up on that deal Thelillypad123
  10. After coming from one of the cheapest am3 motherboards I could find, pretty much any mobo is an improvement in looks lol.
  11. I'm planning on building a new pc, and I'm on a really tight budget. I got an r9 285 for $90 on eBay, and I now have $200 for a CPU, motherboard, and ram. I'm leaning towards the Pentium g4560, as it is only $72 on newegg, and has hyperthreading. What do you guys think?
