  1. i even prefer the 1440p 16:9 rather than 4K 16:9...it's like the sweet spot for me, i will try to get there finally. Don't think that there would be that a huge difference between 4K and 1440p in terms of graphics. Also, in terms of VFM 4K is out of discusion imo.
  2. I am mostly worried about the tearing, that's why i am still in doubt. Cause still having tearing with just the 144Hz and the regular v-sync, is not worth it i guess.
  3. Yeah but what features of the freesync will i lose because of the nVidia gpu. I am mostly worried about the massive tearing. Because getting an expensive monitor and still getting tearing due to freesync feature is pointless imo. Dunno if the high refresh rate itself is able to clear all tearing at all.
  4. Hello guys!! I once again need your help on something that i am not quite familiar. I was looking at some monitors and i had a question. If i buy a freesync monitor while having an nVidia gpu (gtx 1070 to be precise) what features will i lose ?? I mean, i will still get the 144Hz refresh rate of the monitor but what's the feature that i will lose because of the freesync?? Will i still get tearing?? I am asking that because i am looking for a 2K display and 2K + gsync are way too expensive. The other way is to go with a 1080p gsync but i think that i will compromise the power of the gtx 1070 i currently have. Thank you in advance!!
  5. Hello guys. I am planning to get a new mid tower case. I am between 3-4 cases but i really don't know which one to go. So i am gonna need your help to help me choose The ones i am thinking are the S340 elite, P400 TG, Enthoo Pro M TG and the Corsair 400C. As you can see, i love the glass panel so i have decided to choose one of these 4. Although, if you have any recommendation for anything else, hit it on the table!! I would love some explanation, and not based on apprearance (since taste differs ofc) Sorry for the long post. Thank you in advance!
  6. well yeah, mostly i am gaming and some slightly video edit because i am starting to work on my youtube channel ( btw https://www.youtube.com/user/GuitarBill13/videos?shelf_id=0&view=0&sort=dd some self promotion is never bad, in case you wanna support you new friend ) I know that the 8350 will not get the full potential out of the 1070 but i will upgrade it at some point... (i didn't even buy the gpu, it was a gift..so ) but anyway, y gaming mostly......So i will get the 144Hz refresh rate of the freesync monitor with the nvidia gpu but i can not use the freesync feature, right??
  7. Hello guys, new member here from Greece and i need your help please!! First of all, my system is fx 8350, 8gb 1866Hz ram, Gigabyte G1 Gaming gtx 1070. I am planning to upgrade to a 1440p monitor, now i use a 60Hz LG IPS one (23mp67vq). I have two questions i need help with. 1st: Can the 8350 handle the 1440p resolution at higher than 60fps?? and if yes, how stable/consistent will it be??? 2nd (and most important): If i buy a freesync 1440p monitor, will i be able to benefit the 144Hz refresh rate or without amd gpu i lose everything of it??? G-sync are way too expensive, not even thinking of buying one Thanks in advance
