Cheap MSI X299 boards will explode when overclocking 7900X. . .

    Not sure why you'd buy a cheap MSI x299 board and pair it with a 7900x, but to each their own, I guess.

    This is why we have so many problem threads.  lol  

     

    People love paying a lot of money for their favorite component within a build, but go cheap on everything else.  The quality of overclockability of your rig is the sum of all its parts.  Not just the best one.

    If you spend $200 on a board to overclock a $1000 CPU, you deserve whatever happens. :P
